The Artist

Flash Fiction, Action, Adventure

I was once a great warrior; I fought for many great causes in my time. But that was a long time ago.

Now I am an artist, and my only mission is to live, and work in peace. It’s been forty-seven years since

my last adventure. Oh well I suppose some things aren’t worth dwelling on any longer. That's when

someone knocked at my studio door. It was my nephew James it seemed my niece Lilly was in trouble,

and she needed my help.

So I put my hat on, and ventured out her way with my nephew. It turns out she was

in the city, and had been fooling around with some idiot boy. Who was in some way some how

involved with the mafia. At some motel slash cafe.

When we arrived I walked inside, and sat down at a table when I

was approached by a waiter. Who asked me if I wanted to order something. I told him no, and asked

him if he knew my niece. He replied with I’ll get the owner. I said ok thats fine. A couple of minutes

later he brought the owner over to speak to me. The owner took me to see my niece she was located in

the back, and was surrounded by thugs. Who were making her watch her idiot boyfriend get tortured.

She was an emotional wreck. The mob boss told me that my niece, and I could leave as they only

wanted her idiot boyfriend. Who owed them big money.

So I walked her out to the car where her brother was waiting on us. Thats when one of the thugs from

inside came up behind us with a gun. Once I realized he was there I pushed my niece into the back of

car, and quickly closed the door then I turned around striking the thug in the collar bone hard. Once,

and then striking him again to the

windpipe afterwards I wrapped my arms around his neck, and broke it killing him instantly

That's when I told my nephew to get his sister and drive off fast. He did as I said.

After that I took the dead

thugs gun and walked back into the mobsters establishment. As I entered I shot the waiter in the face.

Than I went into the back, and shot everyone of those piece of shit mobsters dead. Of course the boss

of them tried to run like the coward that he truly was. But I unloaded one of his body guards machine

gun clips into his back, afterwards to make damn sure he was dead. I also put bullet in the top of his

head. After they were all dead I doused

the place in gasoline, I cut the gas line in the kitchen, and turned the burners on super low in order to

buy me time to walk out, and then I walked out the front door.

As the entire building exploded.

After that I walked down the road a few blocks bought myself a taco from the taco truck on the corner,

and got on the bus, and went back to my art studio. Where my nephew, and my niece were waiting on

me. As I hung my coat up after entering back into my studio my niece hugged me, and asked me what I

was going to do next. I smiled at her, and said you, and your brother go home. As I had work to do. She

responded with what kind of work. Ben, and I smiled at her, and I said artwork of course I am an

artist after all remember.
