Code is everywhere. “The laws are worse than draconian,” Zala Crero mentioned with another puff of marijuana and a sip of red wine.

“Of course. If anyone wants to experience some sort of pleasure, people in power feel the need to damn it,” Peele Holt replied. He did not partake in the weed but downed some vino.

“It’s more than that. It’s fear. It’s fear that a nation of druggy zombies will overrule the government. The same goes for wanting physically fit, historically masculine males, and women in the kitchen and bedroom.”

“That sounds about right, my dear.”

“It is.”
