Part I

She headed to her station seeing her manager browsing through papers. "What's happening here?" She asked. Her boss's firm expression reminded her that she showed interest. Her boss has always been a hardman, when he walked you could sense that he was off to accomplish something. When he spoke you could sense that he wasn't lying. He was always impeccably dressed and had immense respect company-wide. He was cruel but in the right manner, in a manner that made him the boss.

She has recently noticed that this has been disorganized and she came in today to see what was going on. His office was a mess, he didn't smile like himself, and he smelled like he hadn't bathed in a week. "I built this business off my back," he repeated in a voice she did not know. "I schemed every dollar. I inscribed every hallmark of this office." The woman remained confused as to what the Bosman was describing. He continued to search through the office this time within the fold cabinet digging through files labeled financial reports.

When he printed out the forms from last year she swallowed with a big mouthful.

"Nothing is wrong, sir?" The woman fretted anxiously, coffee mug in one hand and handbag in the other.

All of that, he said as looked up and gave her a stare that was veiled in an expectation of emotions. You see, he began, I've tried my best to be a good man. I married the love of my life, I started a business, I fought for my country, I've even served my community. I don't know why I deserve this.".

She looked around the office in confusion to which he was referring, deserve which she questioned? Sir, she interjected.

This audit shithole, one of the ones accounting explained Sweeping Inc has been recognized as defrauding. Don't you get out? He questioned his question, realizing the answer. She was the lone one who had made it to the office so I suppose not.

I mean, she tripped. She never had the opportunity to utter the words because she was dispatched home and told not to reappear until further notice. Did I just get fired? " she said modestly, composing herself. Just fired, Geesh did not know what to do. Maybe, she surmised in a flash, I can lend a helping hand. Strolling back to her car she searched on the internet and located that yes, it actually existed. Sweeping Inc was closing up shop and had filed chapter 11 bankruptcy due to fraud allegations made by the wife of Mr. Minkers. She states the company has been faking their own books since the company began and that she's suing the company for damages to be determined as the loan she made 15 years ago to start the company. Note: This article will be published as a series. This is the rough draft. I am also in the midst of developing the character in this and wanted to get out what was on my mind. I have not brainstormed or outlined this story, it was freelanced. All credit, effort is the sole mine. The development of this story will also be written and edited over the next couple of weeks. I work to try to accomplish writing stories every 30-90 days, so don't look to see the part 2 and 3 follow-ups until later throughout this year or next. Please expect this to be deleted and revised as I iron out the kinks, details and progression of this draft.undefinedAs always, thanks for the support!
