There are many famous books out there, but The Alchemist is one magical book that is the best selling book of all time. I’m not always reading but this book is addictive enough to keep you reading.

Novelist, poet, and lyricist Paulo Coelho is from Brazil. He is best known for his book The Alchemist, one of the best-selling books of all time that has been published in 80 languages and sold over 225 million copies worldwide. He is regarded as one of the most popular and significant writers in the entire world.

In 1947, Coelho was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started out writing songs and lyrics for Brazilian musicians, but later switched to fiction writing.
