Take it as it comes

When I was a kid, I dreaded school days because it meant facing a series of "bad luck" again.

One day, my mother sent me to school, and as soon as I entered the classroom, I smelled a strange smell. It turned out to be a "surprise" from my classmate, Ming, who had given me a rotten and smelly egg during the holidays! The class laughed, and the teacher looked terrible from the stench. Ming was punished, and I couldn't avoid being dragged along with him.

For the rest of the day, I also spilled the teacher's coffee, was found by the nuns without homework, and even had lunch when a classmate "accidentally" broke my favorite glass ...... A series of unlucky events seemed to chase me like a curse. I finally couldn't help but run to the playground and cry.

On the playground, I met my dad who came to run every morning. I hugged my dad and cried, saying that everyone at school was bullying me and that I wanted to change schools. Who knows, my dad laughed out loud!

Dad said, "Life has its ups and downs, and it's normal to be unlucky. The important thing is to become stronger and not be affected by these small things. Learn to stay out of the way, not obsess about the outcome, and find joy in any situation. That's the secret to a stable life."

It turns out that the trick to overcoming "bad luck" is to take things as they come, to stay happy in the inevitable ups and downs. That day, my father's words started the first lesson of my life
