Backstories:

Darzithlius - an Ignis Drac (Fire Dragon) who had saved young Dayne (age 8) when he was lost in the desert. Darzithlius rescued his friend again - this time from a Harenae Drac (Sand Dragon) when Dayne was ten - fleeing The Massacre of the Blazin Sohets and heading for Blaze's Domain.

Darzith - Dayne and Faynia's son - born in Jonith's Inn in Sor - Dayne wanted to name him after his friend, Darzithlius.

Dayne - Originally, Dayne was first introduced to the series in Shadow of Secrets, when Kaynen first stumbled across Buri Village.

- Year 968

Young Dayne (8) is saved by a dragon - this was the first time he met Darzithlius. He was lost, trying to find his way back to his tribe when the ignis drac showed itself to help him in the name of kinship.

- Year 970 - The Blazin Sohets Massacre

Dayne (10) & his friend, Darzithlius, infiltrate Flare's Tower.

Dayne (20) marries one of the girls who also survived and escaped the massacre, Faynia (19).

Spring - Darzith, the first-born son of Dayne (22) and his first wife, Faynia (21) is born in Sor with the help of Jonith and Kylia.

Summer - Dayne (22) travels to Tavar and meets Mari (22) for the first time.

- Year 984 - Fall - Kaynen is born.

Faynia - a young girl who survived The Blazin Sohets Massacre. Faynia was always interested in learning about the other groups and lands across the world. She dreamed of leaving the desert and exploring the open ocean.

- Year 971 - Faynia (19) marries Dayne (20)

Kylia - she ended up being Faynia's midwife when she gave birth to Darzith.

Mari - a book-loving young woman with blue eyes and blonde hair. Mari grew up in Tavar, where her father and mother managed the Inn. Mari and her mother have been abused by her father. Her mother was crippled by the violence behind closed doors when Mari was a young teen. Before Mari turned sixteen, her father struck a deal with a local and had her betrothed to a boy named Tylo.
