STORY OF 3 AM

It was 3 am and the world was still asleep. The only sounds that could be heard were the distant hum of a few cars and the occasional hooting of an owl. The moon was high up in the sky, casting a pale light over everything, and the stars twinkled like diamonds in the dark. It was a peaceful night, but little did I know that it was about to take a turn for the worse.

I was wide awake, staring at the ceiling, unable to fall asleep. I had been tossing and turning for hours, but my mind was too restless to allow me any rest. So, I decided to get out of bed and take a walk. I put on my shoes, grabbed my coat, and headed out into the quiet streets.

As I walked, I felt a chill in the air. It was the kind of cold that seeps into your bones, but I didn't mind. The solitude was refreshing, and it gave me time to think. I wandered aimlessly, not sure where I was going, until I found myself in front of a small coffee shop.

The shop was dimly lit, but I could see a few people inside. I decided to go in and get a cup of coffee. As I walked in, the smell of fresh coffee hit me, and I breathed in deeply. The warmth inside was a welcome relief from the cold outside.

I ordered a coffee and sat down at a table near the window. I sipped my coffee slowly, watching the world go by outside. The streets were still quiet, but a few people were starting to emerge from their homes. Some were walking their dogs, while others were heading to work.

As I was lost in thought, I heard commotion outside. I looked out the window and saw a group of people running down the street. They were shouting and waving their arms frantically. I couldn't see what was happening.

Suddenly, the door to the coffee shop burst open, and the group of people rushed inside. They were sweating, and their faces were twisted in fear. They started shouting at the staff, demanding to be let into the back of the shop.

I didn't know what was going on, but I knew I had to get out of there. I stood up to leave, but one of the men grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him. He looked at me with wild eyes and said, "You need to come with us. It's not safe here."

I tried to pull away, but he was too strong. The other people in the group started closing in around me, and I realized I was trapped. I didn't know what to do, but I knew I had to escape.

I took a deep breath and ran towards the door. I managed to break free from the man's grip. The group chased after me. I sprinted down the street, not looking back until I was safe.

When I finally stopped to catch my breath, I realized that my heart was pounding in my chest. I had no idea what had just happened. I knew I had to get out of there.

As I stood there, trying to figure out my next move, I heard sirens in the distance. They were getting closer, and I knew I had to get away before they arrived. I started running again, not sure where I was going, but knowing I had to keep moving.
