My week started as usual a peppermint tea 2 cubes of sugar as a stared at the busiest of streets from my small apartment window. today was quite an important day for me, as today I begin what I like to call s tier detective work.

since I was fourteen, I have gained a liking for uncovering mysteries and crime in my small town, it all started on my older sister's prom night, she was enjoying herself and promised her friends dinner later that evening, but little did she know that plan would have to be delayed because little did she know her purse had been stolen, luckily I was in the area and heard her scream as she emptied all her and her friend pockets and bags trying to find her small binder of cash and cards. as soon as I entered the building everyone froze. I walked around staring at people dead in their eyes trying to get them to spill the beans, then I saw one guy, who facial expressions didn't give anything away at first but then I noticed the pocket inside his blazer happened to be overflowing. I reached inside and there it was her purse it all its glory. i return it to her but little did I know it lacked any cash inside. I went to the boy who originally had it and he said his friend passed it to him then left but with the cards still inside as he didn't want anyone to be able to trace him, and here came the difficult part, we managed to uncover who it was that stole it even without the first culprit saying anything. his name was Noah jones a year twelve student, he had a driver's license and before prom explained to his friends he is going to need to return home with them because he was lacking fuel and needed fuel so with this information arrived at the fuel station in time to catch the thief. he was then placed into a year of juvenile prison. I received lots of fame for that and ever since then I have been training to become a detective.

it's been six years since then and I believ I have made a lot of progress and I have been waiting for weeks for a case but still nothing. I began regretting my choice in life, no one needs a detective in this era, but then she walked in.

A beautiful young lady holding a stack of cash tightly between hand, she was anxious but at the same time relieved, she looked familiar like I had met her before. I sat her down and asked why she came to a place like this.

"it's my brother?" she explained "he has been out a lot recently, but he always returns with bruises all over his body and he has been quite violent towards his friends" she started to shed tears" I'm really worried about him and want to know what he is trying to do with his life.

It was a simple task but she paid well, this was not my first time doing something such as this, one time someone was worried her child was trying to join a biker gang because he was trying to get a bike license, and was practising fighting at home but it turns out his friend got him into motorcycles, and he was planning on buying one for himself to use but after he got it was cautious about people who might want to steal it themselves so he took karate lessons to be able to defend him and his bike from harm.

I swore to her that I would uncover the mystery behind her brother. it is my first true case, so I don't want to disappoint, I grabbed my coat and hat then escorted her out the building then went to start my first case.

to be continued...
