Spiderweb Symphonies
An Intimate Look at Nature's Most Talented Harpists
She draws her long, slender legs over the taught strings, strumming out a melodic chord.
Her harp glows white in the morning light, and the dew only adds to the shimmer. Droplets sing as they slide down the strands, harmonizing with her gentle pulls.
A captive audience closes in, drawing nearer to her performance. Some simply can't help themselves; they begin climbing onto the harp!
And this is what the harpist has waited for; her prey has come to her!
The spider rushes forth, across her web, and once the prey is subdued, she cocoons her catch; a welcome snack.
About the Creator
Megan Baker (Left Vocal in 2023)
A fun spin on her last name, Baker enjoyed creating "Baker's Dozen" lists for various topics! She also wrote candidly about her mental health & a LOT of fiction. Discontinued writing on Vocal in 2023 as Vocal is a fruitless venture.
