SPARTANS

Then and again "From shade to hell"

Once more they have formed a wall and lived to fall

In the darkest hour of humanity's history, when the very Earth trembled under the onslaught of demonic invaders who had burst forth from the depths of Hell, a glimmer of hope emerged. The ancient Spartans, renowned for their unwavering resolve and formidable combat skills, were revived from the annals of history to protect the world from this supernatural threat.

A few against the faithful horde, they stood resolute in the face of certain doom.

As the demonic hordes swept across the world, leaving chaos and devastation in their wake, the few remaining cities of humanity stood on the brink of annihilation. Desperation led a group of brilliant scientists to unearth the secrets of ancient rituals. Through a convergence of mystical forces, they breathed life back into the legendary warriors who had once defended their city-states with unyielding valor.

These resurrected Spartans, dressed in their iconic bronze armor and crimson capes, gathered under the blood-red moon. Their leader, General Leonidas, bore the spirit of Sparta within him. He rallied his warriors with the same words that had inspired his forefathers centuries ago: "Come back with your shield, or upon it."

The first battle erupted in the heart of a crumbling metropolis. The earth shook as demonic creatures with grotesque features emerged from swirling portals. The Spartans, shields raised and spears at the ready, moved like a relentless tide against the demons.

With an unmatched combination of discipline and battlefield finesse, the Spartans engaged their foes. Despite the demons' otherworldly powers and monstrous forms, the Spartans demonstrated that their indomitable spirit was a force to be reckoned with. Row by row, they held the line, shield to shield, their combat rhythm echoing like a battle hymn.

General Leonidas, with his sword raised high, fought with a supernatural strength that matched the unnatural fury of the demons. He carved a path through the enemy ranks, leading his warriors to victory against overwhelming odds.

Morning had broken, and today they were truly fighting in the shade. As demonic arrows blocked the sun, they fell one by one, their bodies forming a barrier against the invaders. But, as the final rays of sunlight pierced through the darkened sky, the Spartans stood tall, undaunted.

In the days that followed, the Spartans fought relentlessly, taking back city after city from the demonic horde. Their disciplined formations and unwavering determination struck fear into the hearts of the invaders. The demons, who had initially viewed humanity as an easy conquest, now recognized the formidable warriors that stood before them.

As word spread of the Spartans' return and their relentless defense of humanity, survivors from various corners of the globe rallied to their cause. Together, they formed a coalition against the demonic invaders. Battle after battle, the Spartans and their newfound allies pushed the demons back through the very portals they had emerged from.

The final confrontation took place at the precipice of the Hellish gateway. General Leonidas, battle-worn but resolute, stood at the forefront of his warriors. It was here, in the shadow of the portal, that the fate of Earth would be decided.

With a deafening battle cry, the Spartans charged into the abyss, battling demon lords and hordes of the underworld. In a climactic clash of titanic proportions, the demons were ultimately driven back through the gateway, which was sealed forever.

The battle-scarred Spartans, having fulfilled their sacred duty, watched as the demonic forces vanished from the world. Their mission was complete, and they, once again, returned to the annals of history, leaving behind a world that would never forget the bravery of those who had been revived for a single cause: to save the Earth from the depths of Hell itself and to dine in hell as they rewrote a new, yet the same story of valor and sacrifice.

PS: "I hope you felt that knot in your throat, tears emerging from your eyes as the soul tried to burst out of your body, just as i did while being inspired by Sabathon's Sparta song"
