Spaghetti Family part 9, like honey to a pesky bee
Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared fanfiction AU human

I couldn’t stop crying. It was like the world as I knew it was over. Manny didn’t remember what I was to him, either did Robin. They had some memories just not the most recent ones of us together free in that new community in our new home.
Suddenly I felt a warmth envelope my body, and I sniffle, looking up.
It’s Robin and Manny.
“Why’re you sulking about on the floor? It’s sad,” Manny comments, holding me just close as Robin is.
“Yeah. Let’s get up and have tea. You can’t just do nothing all day and be sad. It’s not good for you,” Robin says softly, and I move my arms out to pull them both closer to me.
I sigh contently, holding them both tightly.
I suddenly look at Robin and lean in very close to his face.
“Ah-um… wha-what are you doing?” Robin squeaks out in a fluttery way.
“May I kiss you?” I ask him and his eyes widen, his beak agape.
“You wanna kiss him?” Manny asks in a confused voice.
I nod. “Yes. I do. He’s my special one. Remember?”
Manny nods slowly, but seems a bit confused still.
“I think I’d like one kiss. Maybe,” Robin says stuffily, and sighs shortly, looking the other direction. He’s just so cute even when he’s in a stuffy mood.
I grin. “You want me to plant one on you like a husband?”
He stutters unintelligibly and covers his mouth shyly. “Hus-husband?”
“Yes. I wanna be…” I put my hand on his cheek and he sighs softly, it sounds unmistakably like a longing sort of sigh. “Your husband.”
“Really? But you are some great big giant red guy and I’m a…” he looks down at himself. “A…”
“Duck?” I say with a grin. “Oh well. Who cares.”
“Rude,” Robin says under his breath, and I start to speak to clarify what I meant but Manny starts to talk.
Manny smiles, but then looks to me and asks, “Who am I then? The pet?”
I shake my head and ruffle his felt like blue hair. “No. Not a pet. You’re a person, and our son.” I point to Robin and I.
“Our son?” Robin asks nervously. “What do you mean? We are.. two guys, and..” he laughs in a loud, sort of over-compensating way. “We can’t make babies..” he whispers to me. I laugh loudly.
“We adopted him, don’t you remember, darling?” I ask, taking his hand. He doesn’t push me away but looks at me confused.
“Darling? Adopted? Huh?” He squawks out. I sigh and plant a hand to my face in frustration.
Manny gives us a happy look, pointing at us. “You two adopted me?”
I nod. “Absolutely.”
“Hmm. So let me get this straight…” Robin starts, tapping his forehead thoughtfully. “We moved to a new community into a new home last year… and you got an office job… doing what?”
“Administration,” I say simply. Robin nods, and gets up.
“I gotta get my clipboard. To get this all in order,” he says and I gently grab his shirt.
“No, no. Please no clipboard,” I plead. He stops and sighs.
“Umm… okay.” He sits back on the floor with me. “So, when did we start our new relationship?” He asks, and I nod.
“Well; I believe we always had something rather sweetly domestic. But… we really made it official a few weeks after we settled into the new place.” I look at him and he seems to have a twinkle in his eye, almost as if he is starting to remember things.
“And when did you two adopt me?” Manny asks, bouncing up and down on the floor.
I lightly touch his round nose in an affectionate way, “Basically after Robby and I were together, we already considered you our son by that time.”
He grins. “Yay!” He throws himself on me and I hug him.
All of a sudden, I feel a grip on my hand pulling me, and I see it’s Robin.
“Why’d you call me darling and Robby? That’s not my name..” he says in a curious tone.
“Those are just my little nicknames for you, love,” I say, then I feel a stronger pull and he is extremely close to my face, only this time he initiated it.
“Ohhh… you two are gonna kiss!” Manny teases. I laugh softly as Robin sticks out his tongue.
“Well; I don’t know how to kiss…” Robin says in a flustered tone. “Maybe it’s computer day!”
“You can use the computer… anytime, Robin,” I say calmly.
“No, we …can’t?” Manny says in a mixture of statement and a question. We all look instinctively at the computer and my heart races, knowing what’ll happen next.
Suddenly, we hear a series of eerie clicking, beeping and computer sounds.
“Oh, hell. What’s this?” I say below my breath, and Robin eyes me.
“Here we go!” Robin whispers to me sympathetically and I feel like it is an oddly self aware moment for him. I take Robin by the hand, he holds it back thankfully.
“Maybe you can kiss me another..” Robin starts to say to me when I see the computer all of a sudden gets a pair of eyes and a mouth, sprouting a pair of arms and legs.
“I’m 🎶
A
Computer!
I’m a computer-y GUY!” 🎵
The annoyingly high pitched song of Colin the Computer hits my ears hard and I yell for everyone to close their eyes and cover their ears.
Suddenly, we all become pixelizations of our puppet selves as Colin sings in heavy, high pitched layers about the digital world, digital currency and coding now, just another lesson added to Lesley’s archives.
I lose sight of Robin and Manny as I feel immersed in the silvery painted cloud overflowing my form. It feels like I am stuffed with glitter, and I’m itchy and everything feels highly uncomfortable. But oddly, scratching an “itch” in the digital world doesn’t do anything but feel like an invisible ghost hitting you.
Suddenly the song skips and rewinds, ultimately skipping forward fast as I see Robin and Manny getting involved in digital currency(I know that Robin wanted to make his own digital currency at one point!), online shopping and…
I am dressed up in denim from head to toe and I see Robin, digitized and decked out in a dark suit, a frilly pink scarf and yellow and green star-shaped sun glasses. It makes me grin at how good he can make anything look—-how adorable he is. But even as I can admire the impeccable way he looks, I notice that he seems in pain.
We’re all looped in the same set of nonsensical lyrical madness as I hear Robin flourishing and spinning around singing, “Digital style!” He winks at me and I laugh nervously.
But Manny…
I look around as I can’t find him and freak out…
“Where’s Manny?!” I ask the void.
I suddenly see a bored looking butterfly deejaying on the clouds. Manny is nearby, dancing a bit ritualistically to the loud techno music. The waves of the hyper sensitive beat hit my brain and I feel a draining of euphoria engulf my chest. Everything slows down.

Sometimes the void answers back, I think ironically. I see Robin near me and he’s finally looking more normal. He takes my hand suddenly, and I feel like I’m the honey comb to his bee, and I grin. He gives me a warm smile back that melts my insides, but then looks distracted and runs off.
If only I could hear…
I suddenly hear a sudden huge slam and I turn around to hear..
“Hmmm! Pesky bee!” Robin yells.
Robin killed the butterfly cult leader.
