Song of the Wind God 1

The wind god is a free and easy-going god

By Frankie C RederPublished 4 years ago 3 min read

The wind god is a free and easy-going god, always with the pursuit of freshness and change of the teenage heart, can not stay in one place, always wandering around with the nature. He has been to many places, has seen everything, and has met many things he likes, but they are all passing by. Hundreds and thousands of years had passed, and there was never anything that was worth stopping and waiting for. But one summer night, when he drove the clouds over a castle, but heard the song that could slow himself down. The song was melodious and pleasant, even if mixed with a few lonesome tones, still beautiful. Wind God has never heard such a beautiful song, curiosity turned up again, so landed on top of the castle, looking down. On the highest terrace of the castle, a beautiful maiden is lying on the railing, in front of the night, singing softly. Her song is as beautiful as the magic, each note can be melted into the wind sweeping past her, was sent to the forest around the castle, was painted in the starry sky above the castle, was sunk into the dreams of every sleeping person, spread very wide, very far. The wind god sat motionless on the roof, listening fascinated. Even the four rising winds ceased. Until the girl stopped singing, took out the silk wipe the corner of the eyes, the god of the wind only came back to his senses, some panic jerked up, bringing up a sharp wind. The silk in the young girl's hand did not hold, and at once was blown out by the wind, tumbling lightly over the terrace several times, and then slowly sink. It did not hit the ground. A gust of wind lifted it up, along with the wind god, hanging outside the terrace where the young girl was standing. Although the wind god has no entity, but there is a way to make mortals see their appearance. What appeared in front of the maiden at this moment was the appearance that the wind god had maintained for thousands of years, a slender and handsome young man, surrounded by a fine wind flow, even the short hair on his forehead also swayed slightly. He drove the wind and brought the handkerchief to the young girl, his voice had a coy tone that he did not even notice: "This is your handkerchief." The young girl looked at the young man hanging in mid-air, but not afraid or panic, but took the handkerchief, slightly hesitantly asked: "You are ......" The young man scratched his head: "I am the wind." The young lady was slightly moved and seemed somewhat pleased: "So, you are the wind." Beautiful things are often easy to relate to each other, whether it is a beautiful song or a warm evening breeze. Two teenage girls who had never met before, when they first met, were able to keep this terrace and talk all night without any barriers. After listening to the young man's enthusiastic account of the strange stories he had seen in different places over the years, the girl told the wind god that she was originally the princess of this country, but her parents died early and her uncle took away the throne. Although the new king did not put her to death when she was still a baby, but also wary of her coveting the throne. For as long as she could remember, she was trapped in the castle, surrounded only by servants who watched over her, with no friends or family to keep her company, and never allowed to go anywhere outside the castle. Singing alone on this terrace late every night was her only pastime and freedom. "How nice that you have been to so many places, unlike me who has never left the castle." The young girl lowered her eyelids, with envy and loss, "That sounds so free."
