"Why didn't you show up that night?"

"I... umm"

"What?"

"Tell me please, I need to know."

"Well it's kinda..."

"I'm sorry."

"Yeah, me too."

"No!"

"Wait!"

"Please."

"I wasn't ready to face you."

"What do you mean?"

"I couldn't face you then and I don't know if I am ready to tell you now."

"Well stop wasting my time th-"

"I'm in love with you."

"Oh, umm.."

"It's fine, I know that you probably don't feel the same."

"I just had to tell you before you go."

"I needed you to know."

"I couldn't spend any more years without you knowing that's why I stood you up."

"I wasn't sure how you'd react and I didn't want to ruin our friendship, but I ruined it anyways by not showing up."

"I'm sorry."

"Hey..."

"It's not like I don't feel very strongly for you."

"I have just spent the last several years thinking that you hated me."

"I was the only one that didn't know what happened."

"It felt like everyone knew."

"Everyone but me."

"And somehow I felt like you all shared some sort of inside joke."

"I thought that one day I'd receive the truth..."

"That truth never came. Not until today."

"I wasn't expecting that. I wasn't expecting to see you again."

"I really am sorry."

"I never meant to hurt you."

"Somehow, I thought it was beter that way."

"Better!?"

"Well, not better. Just less complicated."

"My whole world blew up that day too."

"I wanted to call you."

"I wanted to tell you how much you mean to me."

"I wanted you to know that I was trying to do the right thing."

"So, why didn't you?"

"Call me?"

"Why did you let all this time go by?"

"I didn't think it mattered to you."

"Then I saw you again."

"I saw you and all the past came flooding back, as if fate had interviened."

"This time I knew that I had to tell you, even if you don't feel the same."

"I wanted the truth for so long."

"I ran through every moment, every conversation, evrything that I ever thought and said to you. I couldn't understand what I had done so wrong."

"The part that killed me was feeling like you were thinking of me too..."

"But, if you were thinking of me too, why couldn't you just reach out to me."

"I had convinced myself that any answer was better than never knowing."

"Better than never seeing you again."

"Knowing that I hadn't done anything wrong."

"Your ghost haunted me."

"You haunted me for a long time. Till I made every effort to erase you."

"Oh, wow. That's hard to hear, umm..."

"I was thinking of you."

"Everyday and every night at first."

"You haunted me too."

"I think I loved and missed and needed you more then..."

"I used to dream of you. The dreams were so real, like you were trying to find me. Like you were trying to tell me what I needed to know."

"Please don't cry."

"Come here, please?"

"I didn't think you felt the same. I didn't think it mattered."

"Not till it was too late."

"When I couldn't forget you..."

"I..."

"I replayed all our moments too."

"It was how I got through."

"And sometimes when I was lost in thought, I felt like you were there. You were close to me. In my thoughts. In my dreams. In my secret wishes."

"I hated that I had hurt you."

"I felt like I didn't deserve your friendship anymore."

"Can I tell you something?"

"Yes, please. I want to know."

"You were the only one that was a true friend."

"You had my back when noone else did."

"You got me through all the upheaval, and everything that came after."

"I wanted to call you."

"I dialed your number several times. I.."

"I couldn't hit send."

"At first I wasn't sure what to say."

"Some time had passed before I even had any courage to reach out."

"And, everytime I got close, I convinced myself that you were better off without me."

"I told myself that you could never love someone that didn't have your back like you had mine."

"And that made me or anyone else undeserving of you, your love, your friendship."

"Your presence."

"In some ways it feels so weird seeing you again."

"It feels weird to hear the truth after all this time..."

"But i'm glad."

"In all my attempts to understand, I became better."

"I grew into a person that no longer needed to hear your words."

"It just never stopped me from wanting to hear them."

"You became my muse."

"I filled in your half of the conversation in my mind and in my writing."

"You became a silent friend and ally, even though you weren't really there."

"I was though.."

"I was thinking of you too."

"I was silently rooting for you."

"I'm still rooting for you."

"I read some of your stories, and poems."

"I saw myself in them, strongly in a few of them..."

"I wasn't sure any of them were about me, except for two of them."

"You wrote about things that would only make sense to me."

"Thank you."

"After I had moved past all the haunted nights and dreams of you, seemingly reaching out to me; I made peace with what happened."

"I told myself that one day we would speak once more, embrace once more, and maybe things would take a differnt path. One less hurtful."

"I hoped and wished for this moment."

"Then I let it go."

"I guess I need you to know that I became the person I am today because I never wanted to feel that irrelevant ever again."

"You were never irrelevant."

"I know."

"I just didn't understand back then."

"I didn't understand anything or anyone or even myself back then."

"This is the moment that you were supposed to hear this."

"You are the one person that believed in me and helped me see that I could be so much better."

"It took me awhile to become someone that could face you again."

"I really do still love you."

"I love you too."

"But I didn't know it back then..."

"I think I realized it when I started writing about you."

"Only love could bring us to this moment."

"Even after all these years."
