There was a prince who went hunting in a dense forest.

There was a prince who went hunting in a dense forest. He saw a high castle in the thick forest, and pointed to the spire of the castle and asked passersby what it was. People say anything, and the prince doesn't know who to believe. At this time, an old farmer said to him, "My prince, I heard my father say that in this castle there is the most beautiful princess in the world. She will sleep there for a hundred years, and then a prince who loves her will wake her up. Now, exactly a hundred years, she is waiting for her sweetheart." The old farmer told the prince a story that happened a hundred years ago.

A hundred years ago, there was a king and a queen, and they never had children. Everything has been tried, but to no avail.

Unexpectedly, the queen finally became pregnant and gave birth to a girl. The king and queen were very happy, held a grand baptism for the child, and invited seven fairies to be the godmothers of the little princess. It is said that there are only seven fairies in their country.

The king entertained the fairies with a feast. In front of each of them was an exquisite cutlery - a huge gold box containing a spoon and a pair of knives and forks, both made of solid gold.

The fairies were about to eat when an old fairy suddenly came. No one invited this old fairy, because no one had seen her for so many years, and they thought she was dead.

The king ordered that a beautiful tableware should also be set for her, but he could not give her the same gold box, because the gold box was specially made for the seven fairies. The old fairy was very unhappy and thought the king looked down on her. A young fairy sitting next to her heard her nagging and was worried that she would give the princess an unfortunate gift, so as soon as dinner was over, she hid behind the screen and waited for the last word to remedy the disaster that the old fairy might cause.

The fairies began to give gifts to the princess. The youngest fairy wished the princess to be the most beautiful girl in the world; the second fairy wished the princess to have angelic wisdom; the third fairy wished the princess to do everything beautifully; the fourth fairy wished the princess to have a graceful dance; the fifth fairy wished the princess to sing like a nightingale; the sixth fairy wished the princess to play various musical instruments.

The next one was the old fairy's turn. She shook her head and said, "The princess will one day die by pricking her finger with a spindle." This terrible "gift" made everyone panic.

At this moment, the young fairy came out from behind the screen and said, "King and queen, don't worry! Your daughter will never die like this. Although I don't have enough mana to completely overturn what the old fairy said, the princess will not die, she will just fall asleep. A hundred years later, a prince will wake her up."

In order to prevent the curse of the old fairy from becoming a reality, the king issued an order: no one is allowed to use a spindle and spin thread, and those who violate it will be sentenced to death.

Fifteen or sixteen years passed in a flash, and the princess grew into a very beautiful girl.

One day, the king and queen took the princess to the villa to play, and the young princess ran up and down the rooms, and finally came to a small room at the top of the watchtower. There was an old mother spinning with a spindle. The kind old man had never heard of the king's order against spinning with a spindle.

The princess thought the spindle was fun and wanted to try it too. But because she moved too fast and was careless, as soon as she picked up the spindle, her finger was pricked and she fell into a coma.

The king came to the tower. He remembered the fairy's prophecy, knew it was inevitable, and ordered the princess to be sent to the most delicate room in the castle, and let her lie down on a bed covered with sheets of gold and silver thread.

The good fairy who saved the princess' life also rushed to the castle immediately. She was afraid that the princess would be uneasy when she woke up and found that she was alone in the castle, so she used her fairy staff to point at everyone in the palace (except the king and queen): the lady, the palace e, the steward, the cook, the servants, the entourage, etc. They all fell asleep. They will wake up with the mistress so that they can continue to serve her according to her needs.

The king and queen kissed their sleeping daughter goodbye and left the palace.

And just like that, a hundred years have passed.

Hearing this, the young prince became even more curious. He decided to venture into the castle.

The prince walked into the forest without fear, and the trees and thorns automatically gave him a way. He made it to the castle smoothly, and finally to a splendid bedroom. Before him was a beauty he had never seen before: a fifteen or sixteen-year-old princess lay on a fine bed, her whole body shining with a holy and bright brilliance. Stunned by her beauty, the prince slowly approached her and fell to his knees beside her.

So, the magic was lifted, and the princess woke up. All the sleeping people in the castle also woke up.

The princess looked at the handsome prince tenderly and said, "Is that you? My prince, I have been waiting for you for a long time."

They snuggled into the hall and had dinner together. After dinner, the priest married them in the chapel of the castle.

The prince and the princess lived together for more than two years. The princess gave birth to two children. The eldest was a girl called Chenxi; the younger was a boy called Sunshine.

Two years later, the old king died and the prince succeeded. Only then did he announce his marriage and solemnly take the queen from her castle to the palace.

Soon, the king was going to war with the emperor of a neighboring country, so he handed over the country to his mother, and let her take care of his wife and two children.

But as soon as the king left, the queen mother had a bad idea and arranged the queen and two children in a humble hut in the forest.

A few days later, she was there too. One night, she said to the chef, "Tomorrow, I will eat Little Chenxi for lunch."

"Ah! Empress Dowager, how can this be done!" exclaimed the steward in surprise.

"I can eat it if I want!" The Empress Dowager was a goblin, and she said in a goblin tone, "I'm going to dip her in hot sauce!"

The manager came to Little Chenxi's room. When the four-year-old Little Chenxi saw him come in, she jumped into his arms with a smile and begged him for candy.

The manager couldn't bear to kill Xiao Chenxi, so he went to the breeding farm, chose a young sheep, cooked it, dipped it in hot sauce, and sent it to the queen mother. He asked his wife to hide Xiao Chenxi in his home.

After the queen mother finished eating, she was full of praise. A week later, she said to the steward again, "Tomorrow, I will have little sunshine for dinner and eat it."

This time, the steward roasted a very tender little goat and gave it to the queen mother. After she finished eating, she boasted that it was delicious.

One night, the fierce queen mother said to the steward again, "I will eat the queen this time, and use the same sauce for me."

The poor steward could no longer think of a way to deceive her, so he had to decide to kill the queen.

"Do it," the queen stretched her neck, "carry out her orders, I was thinking of visiting my poor children underground!"

"No, no!" The steward was moved, "I shouldn't have killed you, you should have been reunited with your children. They're not dead, they're all hiding in my house."

The steward once again deceived the queen mother with a doe.

One night, the Empress Dowager was wandering around the courtyard of the palace and the feedlot as usual, trying to smell the smell of raw meat. Suddenly she heard the cry of little sunshine and the cry of little dawn from a low hut. The goblin knew that she had been deceived and was very angry.

Early the next morning, she had a large wooden bucket put in the yard with toads, pit vipers, water snakes, and pythons, and she was going to throw the queen and her two children, as well as the chief cook, his wife, and the maid.

When the executioner was about to throw them into the barrel, the king came back on horseback. Seeing this terrible scene, the king was very surprised and hurriedly asked what was going on, but no one dared to tell him the truth. Angry and frightened, the queen mother plunged into the big barrel to hide, but in a blink of an eye the poisonous snakes ate her.
