The Castle House of Gareth housed the noblest royal families. King Ferdinand Gareth is remembered as one in a long lineage of just lords. Queen Amora was a woman loyal to the prestige of royalty. Princess Gwyneth was the noblest of all; eternally lovely and good-hearted . The kingdom adored the royal family; and the Castle Gareth housed more. The mystic Sword of the Ancients rested in the treasure chamber of Gareth to await the day to unsheath its power once more.

Fatefully, there came the tragic night of King Ferdinand's passing by illness. The lineage of the Brotherhood of Gareth was broken. A grieving Queen Amora and devastated Princess Gwyneth remained.

Three days after the passing of the king, an enemy army stormed the castle grounds. The enemy knights came to mock the family in their gravest hour and came to rape and pillage the treasure trove. The king's best guards knew that the enemies sought the sword amongst other treasures and they ran out to meet the threat head on. As the knights rode out, they forgot Zacherous, their youngest, once more...
