SHE'S THE SWEETEST TASTE OF ALMONDS.

Chapter 1 Is love in the air or not?

Hey, my name is Chad Mcbland and I am 27 years old. I have a beautiful girlfriend named Gidget Simmons. She is the apple of my eye. She is wonderful. I know it has only been five months, but she’s everything a guy could want. She has her own place and car. She has a great job as a weather girl and me, on the other hand, I am a physical ed teacher for 1st graders. I live in my parent’s basement for Christ's sake. I take the bus to work daily. I know I am at an age where I should get my own place, but I am not ready to move out just yet. My parents are awesome when they want to be. My mom approved of my girlfriend but my dad he is not too fond of her because she is black. My dad may be a little racist, but that does not stop me from being with Gidget.

Gidget will stop by today, and I am excited. I have not seen her for two weeks because she went on vacation to Mexico. Gidget loves to travel. Gidget is 5’7, almond complexion, with exceptionally long flowy hair. She is slim with curves, and she has a beautiful smile. I think I look pretty good looking myself. I am a little stocky,6’1. I used to play football in school. I have ginger color hair with a clean shaped up beard Gidget loves.

This was Chad’s first black girlfriend and, so far, one of his best relationships. He and Gidget did everything together. He introduced Gidget to some new things, and Gidget introduced him to some new things as well. They have an amazing connection.

They first met at Starbucks and the cashier was being rude to Gidget. Chad stepped in and defended her. They immediately were attracted to each other and were inseparable ever since. Gidget has always seen Chad as her protector and hero because he has always been there since they first met.

Chad was heading upstairs to the kitchen.

“Hello, son, good afternoon,” his mom said to him. She looked back at him.

“Hey mom, where’s dad?”

“He is in the bedroom.”

“Can you let him know Gidget is coming over and I need him to be nice. This will be you guy’s second time meeting her. The first time was not so pleasant. Well, dad was a huge jerk.” He sighs.

“I will talk to your father, Chad. You have nothing to worry about, son. Gidget is a wonderful soul; your father will grow to love her, you watch.” She had a pleasant smile on her face.

“I hope you are right, mom. Gidget was very hurt the last time she came over because of how he was acting, very uncalled for. She is a human being that might end up being my wife.”

“Now son, you know it’s too soon for that. It’s only been 5 months. Give your relationship time to blossom.” She touched his shoulder.

“Mom, I know she is the one for me.” His eyes glistened.

“Slow down, son.”

Chad's father comes into the kitchen with a look of disgust on his face.

“Son! Are you crazy! You just met her and you saying she is the one! I should bash your head into the damn cabinet,” Mr. Mcbland yelled angrily. “You going to settle for a black girl? You can do better, son; I am so disappointed in you.”

“Dad, I don’t care what you say. Gidget is going to be around, so get used to it. Stop disrespecting my woman! She is great to me. When will you see her for who she is and not keep looking at her skin? You are ignorant, Dad.” He had an agitated look on his face.

“Boy, what you called me?” His eyebrows snapped together.

“I called you ignorant because you are acting like it!” Chad felt himself getting hot.

“Screw your black monkey pet. I’m going to my room.” He walked away with his cane.

Chad's face turned red. He was furious. He could not stand his dad.

“Just so awful,” Ms. Mcbland said as she shook her head.

“Mom, why didn’t you say anything? Why didn’t you defend me?”

“Son, I’m not getting in between you guys’ mess.” She looked away.

“I am your son! You going to let him just disrespect me, really mom.” He breathes hard then buries his face in his hands.

“Sorry son, I told you I will talk to him.”

The doorbell rings.

“That is Gidget. Mom, we are not staying here for lunch.” He gets up out of his chair.

“Why not son? I cooked, and I want to spend more time with Gidget.”

“Another time, mom, I’m just not feeling it today.” He walked away and walks towards the door.

Mrs. Mcbland's face looks disappointed.

Chad goes to the door to answer it.

“Baby!” Chad yelled while picking her up and spinning her around.

“I miss you so much,” Gidget said while blushing.

“I miss you too, baby.” He was giving her multiple kisses.

Gidget tries to walk inside, but Chad blocked her way.

“What happened Chad?” She had a puzzled look on her face.

“I think we should go out.” He half smiled.

“What happen now? Let me guess, your dad?” she asked while raising her eyebrow.

“Yeah, babe I’m sorry.”

“Why is he like that?”

“Because he’s a dickhead and doesn’t want to leave the 50s. Time has changed, and he needs to realize that,” he said.

“Well, I like your mom. She’s nice.”

“Yeah, she’s okay.” He put his arm around her as they started walking.

“Look at you babe, that tanned have you glistening.” He was checking her out.

Gidget smiles and gave him a quick kiss.

“You have the smoothest skin I ever felt. That’s that black girl magic huh?” He asked.

“Oh my gosh, shut up,” she said while laughing.

“I’m just saying, you got it going on, babe,” he said with a smirk.

“And you are the flyest white boy I ever met,” she said while giving him a wink.

Chad grabbed her from behind and gave her kisses on the side of her cheek.

“You better stop, boy, before you get me turned on.” She bit her lip.

“You know I can’t keep my lips or hands off you, babe.”

“I’m your favorite addiction, huh?” She asked, while looking back at him.

“Of course, I can’t get enough of you, baby.” He roars, making funny lion noises.

Gidget starts to giggle.

They were walking down the block holding hands. Some people stared, and some people did not pay them any mind.

“So, when are you going to move out of your parent’s basement and get your own place, Chad?”

“Not this question again,” he said, while he huffed and puffed.

“I’m simply curious because when we first met you told me you were moving out in a couple weeks, and it hasn’t happened. Like what are you waiting for?” Gidget said while she stopped walking and looked at him.

“It will happen when the time is right. Once my finances are good, then I’ll take that step plus my mom like having me home.” He touched his hair.

“You are pushing 30 and you are a big momma’s boy.” She rolled her eyes.

“Yes, I love my mom, but I am not a momma’s boy. I don’t have money like you miss thang.”

“I came straight to you after my flight, and I didn’t come here to argue. I just asked a simple question.”

“Can you just drop it and never bring it up anymore, Gidget? I will move out when I am ready. Either deal with it or not.” He shook his head.

“Fine!” she spoke.

“Fine, what?!” He squinted his eyes at her.

“I won’t bring it up anymore”, she said while folding her arms.

“So, you ready to go inside the restaurant and get some food?” He asked.

“I want to go home, and I lost my appetite.” She looked away.

“Gidget, you are such a brat. Every time you get this attitude, you want to ruin the day.” He was staring at her.

“I’m just not in the mood anymore. I had a long day, okay, Chad. Take me to my car. I am going home!”

“Okay, no problem. This is so messed up. We didn’t see each other for two weeks and this is how you want to act.” He throws his hands up.

“Chad, I don’t care, get your life.” Gidget walks off.

Chad stands there devastated.

Chapter 2 Don’t sweat it.

Chad walks back into the house.

“What are you doing back home so soon, son?” Ms. Mcbland asked with a concern look on her face.

“Me and Gidget got into a fight.”

“Do you want to talk about it?”

“No, mom no.” He sighs.

“You know I am here for you, son.” She turned to him.

“I know, mom but I just rather not.” He looked down.

Mr. Mcbland walks in on the conversation. “You need to leave that piece of crap alone.” He had a disgusted look on his face.

“Dad, please shut up.” Chad walks past his dad and walks down to the basement.

Mr. Mcbland lets out a loud laugh.

“Would you stop? You clearly see that your son is upset,” Ms. Mcbland said while giving him a shameful look.

Mr. Mcbland kept laughing hysterically while slapping his knee. “I just know it will not work between them. I just know it.”

“You are terrible,” Ms. Mcbland said while shaking her head.

Chad tried calling Gidget three times, but she kept forwarding his calls. He tried calling one more time, and she finally picked up.

“Babe, why were you ignoring me?” Chad asked in a frustrated tone.

“I am still upset at you, and I don’t know if this relationship is going to work. Your father doesn’t like me, and you live with him, Chad. I’m just so irritated!” Gidget yelled.

“I know babe, but things won’t always be this way, I promise. Try to be patient with me. I will be worth the wait. You are the best thing that ever happened to me, Gidget.”

“Okay Chad, you lucky I like you,” Gidget said while she giggled.

“So, what are you doing later tonight, Gidget?”

“Well, I’m going to hang with the girls tonight.”

“Let me guess, you are hitting the club?”

“Yes, babe, something like that. It’s more like a rooftop lounge in the city.”

“Okay, so no drinking tonight, because you have to drive.”

“Actually, Zoey is the designated driver tonight.”

“Okay, baby, but still don’t get too drunk because you remember last time. I had to come out there to get you.” He joked.

“Okay babe, I won’t,” Gidget said in a dry tone while breathing hard on the phone.

“I know you are still pretty young, and you want to have your fun, but sometimes I feel you forget you’re in a relationship.”

“Chad, please stop, you always trying to control me. I have to go,” Gidget said while hanging up the phone.

Chad was emotional, and he wanted to call Gidget back, but he decided to just take a nap instead.

Gidget was at the rooftop with her girls, Zoey and Lisa.

“It is some fine brothers in here,” Lisa said as she looked around.

“It sure is,” Gidget agreed while smiling from ear to ear.

“I see a fine Asian daddy over there by the bar,” Zoey said while looking hard.

“Looks like his friend is checking you out, Gidget.”

Gidget starts to blush.

They all walked over to the bar.

The guy that was checking Gidget out walks over to her.

“What’s your name, beautiful?” He licked his lip.

“My name is Gidget, and yours?”

The dark brother said “my name is Terrance. Are you single, love?” He asked.

“It’s complicated.” She looked him right in the eyes.

“I want to make you mine.” He stared back.

Something extremely attracted Gidget to Terrance. Terrance gets closer and closer to Gidget. She gets nervous and moves back a little.

Chad was in the corner, watching the whole thing. He was raging with anger. He wanted to go over there and confront Gidget, but he wanted to see how far she would go. Chad was heartbroken and thought Gidget was not the one.

“I would like to buy you a drink, lovely.”

“Okay, I would like that.” She half smiled.

After the third drink, Gidget was more comfortable and was closer to Terrance. Terrance put his hand on Gidget's hand as they converse and laugh.

“You are so beautiful and so intelligent and funny,” Terrance said, while he caressed her hand.

“Thank you so much, and I’m having a great time with you. I don’t want this night to end,” Gidget said.

As they locked eyes, Terrance leaned in and gave Gidget the most passionate kiss ever.

Chad runs over screaming “no!”

Then Chad wakes up out of his dream. Chad's heart was racing.

“It was just a dream,” he said while he sighs with relief. Chad started laughing to himself, feeling a lot better. Then he thought, “what does that dream mean?”

Chad called his good friend Juan over. He needed some advice and someone to talk to. He was worried that he would lose Gidget to the next guy because he did not have everything together as he should have .

Juan finally arrived at Chad's house. Juan was Chad's best friend since elementary and they were always there for each other. Chad's father did not like Juan much because he was Mexican, and Juan did not like being around Mr. Mcbland.

“So, what’s up? Man, tell me what is going on?” Juan asked.

“I had a dream about Gidget.” He sighs.

“How nasty, details?” Juan asked while looking anxious jumping up and down in his seat.

“No, you freak! Not that kind of dream.” He squinted his eyes at Juan.

“Ahh man, I was getting excited. I was hoping to hear some kind of thrill,” Juan said while laughing.

“You really need help, man,” Chad said. He shook his head.

“So, what happen?”

“Gidget cheated on me in the dream. She kissed another dude, man.”

“Like a grandma kiss or a passionate one?” Juan started doing hand gestures and head movement to show how a passionate kiss look like.

“You really think I would call you over and freak out if I had a dream about my girl just giving a grandma a kiss to a dude? This is serious bro; she might think of leaving me.” He put his head down.

“Just chill. It was just a dream. It means nothing.” He touched Chad's shoulder.

“How do you know, Juan? Gidget was mad at me today and she supposed to go out tonight with her girls. Every time me and her have problems she goes out.”

“You are worrying too much bro, maybe we should go out as well. I need to find me a nice senorita,” Juan said in a funny Mexican accent.

“Yeah man, we should go out.”

“We should tell Nathan to come out with us, too.”

Nathan was a good friend of Chad and Juan. Nathan became a part of the crew when they met in high school. One of the popular rich kids was Nathan. Was wealthy and owned a couple businesses. He was a real lady’s man, too. He loved to party, and he loved the ladies. Was tall, has blonde hair and is very fit. People thought was a total jerk and very cocky.

Nathan was on his way to Chad's house.

“We really haven’t seen Nathan for the last 6 months. He was always down for a party.”

“Seem like that’s the only time we see him,” Chad said.

“You right, bro.”

“Nathan either on a business trip or partying.”

“My kind of man,” Juan said jokingly.

“Big pause on that bro,” Chad said while shaking his head.

Nathan walks in the basement. “What up, my people?” Nathan shouted with his hands tapping the ceiling.

“What’s up bro?” Chad said while giving Nathan a hug.

“What up amigo?” Nathan shouted while giving Juan a hug.

“So, we are hitting this party or what?” Juan shouted.

“Let’s go fellas!” Chad shouted back.

Chapter 3 Drinks and links.

They all were rolling in Nathan's new Audi.

“Man, your car is dope, my friend!” Juan yelled out. “I know you pulling all the hunnies.”

“You know that’s nothing new. I been pulling them since high school,” Nathan responded.

“You right, I need to get like you,” Juan said.

“You know that’s not happening,” Nathan joked.

“That’s messed up man, if you can do it, so can Juan.” Chad added.

“I’m just messing with him man, relax, loosing your draws grandpa.”

“You really treat us like we are below you though.” Chad shook his head.

“Dude, you live in a fucking basement with mommy and daddy. Of course, I’m above you.”

“I swear bro, say something else disrespectful. I’m going to tear you apart,” Chad said angrily. Chad's face was red, and his vein was popping out of his forehead.

“You guys need to chill!” Juan shouted. “We came out today to have fun and not fight. We are too old for this.”

“You right man,” Chad said.

“Yeah, I’m sorry guys,” Nathan apologized.

They finally made it to the lounge in Manhattan. They all walked right in.

“Tell me I don’t pick the best spots,” Nathan said while throwing his hands up.

“I have to give it to you, man. This place is jumping!” Juan shouted. “All the ladies looking really tasty, mmm.” Juan put his finger on his lip, eyeing on the ladies.

Chad laughs. “We really have to get Juan laid,” Chad said to Nathan.

“When was the last time you got some man?” Nathan asked while putting his arm on Juan's shoulder.

Juan starts to ponder with his hand on his chin. “I think last Thanksgiving, I was very grateful.”

“Dude, you are a loser,” Nathan said while laughing hysterically.

“Shut up. I don’t have your good looks and money.” He shoved Nathan.

“Don’t worry tonight. we going to get you drunk and laid. No using your hand tonight, buddy,” Nathan joked.

“Guys, we are getting V.I.P, the ladies will flock to us.” Nathan mentioned. “What bottles should I order for the night?”

“Hennessy man, that will impress the ladies,” Juan said with a goofy smile.

“It doesn’t even matter to me,” Chad said.

“Ahh man, hennything is possible! woo hoo!” Juan shouted.

Chad shakes his head. “This guy,” Chad said to Nathan.

Nathan laughs.

The place was packed. The music was booming. They were in the V.I.P waiting for their two bottles of henny to arrive. Then walks in Gidget and her two friends, Zoey and Lisa.

“Bro, isn’t that your girl over there?” Juan asked while pointing.

Chad slaps Juan's hand and then puts his head down.

“Wait, that’s his lady?” Nathan asked. “I guess I finally get to meet her, and she is looking good, too.”

“You must really want me to tear your arm off today, huh?” Chad said to Nathan while giving him the death stare.

“Okay man, chill,” Nathan shoves Chad.

“Just watch your mouth next time.”

“You got it, bro.” He sighs.

Gidget had on a tight white dress with some white and black high heels with a cute little white purse. Gidget was an almond complexion and had deep dimples. She had her hair up in a nice, high ponytail. She was medium height, 5’7 and slim, thick like a video vixen. Zoey was a cute small Thai woman that was 5’2 and incredibly attractive in her early 30s. Lisa was Gidget best friend. Lisa was a dark complexion woman, with vibrant skin and thick. Therefore, she was so beautiful. People said she resembled Kenya Moore. Was also very feisty.

“Where are the brothers at?” Lisa asked.

“I don’t know, but I see Gidget man and his friends in the V.I.P section.” Zoey whispered.

“What? you not serious,” Gidget said while looking in the same direction as Zoey. “Oh my God, that really is him.”

“Look like you won’t have as much fun as us,” Lisa said while giving Zoey a five.

“I was not planning on misbehaving anyway, you little hoes.” She flipped her ponytail.

“Why we have to be all of that,” Lisa said while rolling her eyes.

“She just mad because we can do what we want and she can’t,” Zoey said while giggling.

“Whatever, hoes.”

The ladies walked over to the guys’ table.

“Hello Chad, I know you notice me.” She smiled.

“Hey babe, I saw you. I was going to acknowledge you. You look great, by the way.” He stared at her for 5 seconds.

“Thank you, Chad.” She blushed.

“So, you’re the lovely Gidget,” Nathan said while introducing himself and kissing her on the hand. “I’m Nathan, Chad, good friend. Nice to meet you.”

Chad was staring Nathan down.

They all sat at the table, and the bottles started coming out. The ladies face lit up.

“Henny baby! yes!” Lisa shouted.

“You guys ready to get wasted!” Nathan shouted while opening the bottle. “Come here Gidget”. He lifted the bottle and was about to pour it in Gidget mouth, but Chad grabbed the bottle.

“Man, what are you doing?” Chad yelled. “You really pushing it, man.” He balled his fist.

“Babe relax,” Gidget said.

“Bro, I was just having some fun.” He had a puzzled look on his face.

“I don’t care Nathan, you really crossing the line. My girl, not one of your little whores.” His eyebrows snapped together.

“My bad bro, my bad.”

Nathan started pouring everyone shots. “Everyone, raise your glass.”

They all cheers and took their shots back.

“That shit burn, man!” Juan yelled out while hitting his chest.

“Toughing up little one,” Nathan said while laughing.

“Man, I want more of that, that was nothing,” Juan said while pouring another shot.

Chad pulls Gidget to the dance floor. They grind real close face to face. Chad was not a good dancer, but he tried anyway. Gidget loved to dance. She could not help but to laugh at all the funny dances Chad was doing. Chad loves making Gidget laugh. Her smile is what got his heart.

“Let’s sit back down babe, I’m getting exhausted,” Gidget said.

Nathan was chatting with Zoey. Zoey did not look very interested.

“You are just the most conceited person I ever met,” Zoey said to Nathan.

“Well, look at me. Can you blame me?” Nathan said with a cheesy smile.

Zoey rolled her eyes.

Gidget laughs and looks at Chad and says, “your friend is something else.”

“Tell me about it.”

“You guys are so different, and I wonder how you became so close.”

“For one, me and Nathan are not as close as we used to be. We became friends because we were on the football team together. He just always been fun to hang with. Juan is my close friend, and he always been there for me. Nathan is just around when he needs someone to hang with. He has the money; the ladies and he’s well known.”

“He may be a lady’s man, but he sure can’t pull Zoey,” Gidget whispered, and they both started laughing.

It was reaching 4 am, and they were soon heading home. The guys and the ladies went their separate ways. Chad wanted to go home with Gidget, but Zoey was taking them home.

“Don’t look so sad man, you can always go see Gidget another day,” Juan said while they head home in the car.

“My boy is whipped,” Nathan joked while looking at Chad.

“I’m going to give her space. She probably still feeling a way towards me.”

“I hope things work out, Chad.”

“Me too.”

Chapter 4 So Gidget.

Gidget lived alone in a condo complex in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Gidget always been a go-getter and a boss. She has been living on her own for 3 years. Even though Gidget lived on her own, she was very family oriented. She loved her parents and older brother very much. Chad has not met Gidget family yet. She hopes that her family will love him as much as she does. Gidget still felt away that Chad was not put together or as much as a go-getter like her. She also was not sure if Chad was the right man for her. As much as she wants it to work, she hopes things will get better. Gidget was always direct and assertive with Chad about how she would want the future for them to be. Chad will soon need to make some changes, or Gidget will not stay involved with him.

Gidget poured herself a glass of red wine and sat on the couch. She was waiting for Lisa to come over. Lisa was single and loved to be free. The heartbreaker in the crew. This lady loves dating married men because she does not want a commitment. She also loves rich guys. She was a man’s weakness. The definition of elusive was she. And usually can get any man she wants. She intimidated men and women because her confidence was through the roof. Don’t tell your relationship problems to Lisa because her favorite line is to “get rid of the fool”. Gidget did not really enjoy talking about her man's problems with Lisa because most of the things Lisa said Gidget did not want to hear. Zoey was the friend to tell you to work things out in relationships. Zoey was a sucker for love and wore her heart on her sleeve.

Lisa was at the door, and Gidget went to let her in.

“What’s good girl?” Gidget asked.

“Girl, that traffic was crazy getting here.” She sighs.

“I bet; I was wondering what was taking you so long.”

“I was literally at one of my boos houses.” She had a sly smile on her face. “He drove me here in his new Mercedes. That man has money,” Lisa said while smiling.

“Check you out, you always getting the ballers. What he does anyway?” Gidget asked.

“He is an investor and owns a couple of hotels in Mexico.”

“Oh my God, you are really living your best life, sis.”

“You need to do the same,” Lisa said while folding her arms, staring hard at Gidget.

“Please don’t start this again.” She looked away from Lisa.

“I don’t get you. Why are you wasting your time with a broke white dude that lives in his parent’s basement?” Lisa asked with a puzzled face. “He doesn’t even have a car.”

“Chad treats me great, and he is a good man. He may not have it altogether, but he is trying. And he’s not broke, by the way.”

“I’m just saying if you going to be with a white man, why not a rich one at least? You are doing well for yourself and deserve someone on your level or better, sis.” She gave her the side-eye.

“Okay, but Chad will get there. Get off my back. That’s my baby and I love him.” Gidget was becoming annoyed.

Lisa starts laughing. “Girl, you can do better, that’s all I’m saying.”

“You can do better too and stop opening your legs to every man with money.” She smirked.

“Wow!” Lisa's jaw dropped. “You didn’t have to go there, Gidget.”

“Girl bye, don’t act all hurt.”

“Well, at least I’m not stressed, and I’m having fun. We are young in our 20s. You trying to be married tomorrow and shit?”

“It’s nothing wrong with wanting to settle down, Lisa.” She sat down next to her.

“You know, most marriages don’t work out. There are a lot of miserable people that are married. Look at me, how can I even trust a man when the married one’s flock to me? These men cheat with me and even they wives will contact me crying, asking why they stepped out on them. The men tell me they got bored, they wife nags them all the time and how she's not attractive anymore. These men are dogs, and I will never get married.”

“Okay, are you done?” Gidget said while rolling her eyes.

“It’s okay. I wish you the best with your relationship. I’m no hater.”

“Thank you, now do you want some wine chick?” Gidget asked.

They were chatting and drinking wine, and then Gidget's phone rings.

“It’s Chad, Gidget whispered to Lisa as she picks up the phone.

“Hey baby, what are you doing?” Chad asked.

“I’m just sipping wine with Lisa.”

“I didn’t mean to disturb. I thought you were alone. I wanted to stop by.”

“Chad, I can see you another day. I don’t know what time miss thang is leaving.”

“Tell him to come by. I don’t mind!” Lisa hollered out.

“I don’t know about that.”

“Just let the man come, girl.”

“Chad, do you want to come?”

“I don’t want to get in between ladies’ time.”

“Bring your enormous head over,” Lisa said jokingly and aggressively.

“Okay, I’ll come.”

“Beware, Chad, I think Lisa is a little buzzed.”

Chad laughs then hung up.

“Lisa, what the hell was that about? I did not want Chad to come over today. I needed space.”

“You love him so much now you need space?” She put her hand on her chin while staring at Gidget.

“It’s not like that. I’m still a little aggravated by him.”

“Well, I need some male advice,” Lisa said.

Gidget shook her head while rolling her eyes. “Next time, don’t invite him without asking. Not cool at all.”

“Okay my bad, Gidget.” She sucks her teeth.

“I swear when you drink, you make dumb decisions.”

“You make dumb decisions sober Gidget, so don’t come for me.”

“Says the chick that can’t get her own man but wants to swallow dick that been inside the next chick.”

“You are bugging out, girl. I don’t do no sucking.” She screwed up her face.

“Yeah, okay,” she said.

Gidget could not stand Lisa sometimes. Lisa has always been self-absorbed and always did things her way and take no one's feelings into consideration.

“You always been a selfish ass bitch, anyway.”

“You right, I am selfish but that’s nothing new, Gidget.” Lisa goes to the bathroom.

Gidget takes Lisa cup and dumps it in the sink. “This chick is getting too drunk,” Gidget said to herself.

The bell ring and it is Chad at the door.

“It’s open!” Gidget yelled out.

Chad walks in and he can tell that Gidget was not in the best mood.

“What’s wrong, babe?” Chad asked. “Where’s Lisa?” He was looking around.

“She went to the bathroom. She is pissing me off.”

“You guys stay getting into it,” Chad laughed.

“It’s not funny, she really a narcissist bitch!” She snapped.

Lisa walked back in and overheard. “Please tell more,” Lisa said.

“You really been pushing my buttons? Do you ever think of anyone other than yourself?” Gidget asked.

“I’m sorry Gidget, I guess I’m just not a great friend. I will call a cab and I will leave.”

“You do that,” Gidget said, and she walked upstairs to her room. Lisa walks to the closet to get her bags.

“Lisa, hold up!” Chad shouted while he walks towards her.

“What do you want?” Lisa asked while looking him up and down.

“Maybe you can try to understand Gidget a little better.”

“How about she tries to understand me?” She yelled out.

Chad can clearly see Lisa had too much to drink. Lisa walks towards the door, trying to keep her balance. Chad runs over to her and holds her up.

“I’m going to call you a cab.” Chad puts Lisa against the wall and gets her home address from her.

“So, the cab company said someone should come in 7 minutes.”

“I’m sorry that I’m giving you guys a hard time. You are such a nice guy, Chad.”

Lisa loses her balance and falls to the floor. Chad grabs her up and takes her outside to wait for the cab.

“Thank you so o o mucch,” Lisa said while slurring her words.

“No problem Lisa, there goes the cab.” He pointed.

“Can you ride with me to my house? I don’t trust the driver, Chad.”

“Lisa, I don’t know about that.”

“Please Chad, be a good friend.” She looked up at him and she touched his chest.

“Okay, I will ride with you; you only live 15 minutes away.” He put her in the cab and then he got in.

They arrived at Lisa's house in Bushwick. Chad carried her up the steps.

“Where are your keys, Lisa?”

Lisa's head was hanging low, and she moans out, “in my left pocket.”

Chad gets the key and opens the door. He then carries her to the couch. As he was putting her down, Lisa grabs, his head and softly kissed him. Chad jumps back.

“Lisa, that was not cool.” He started to sweat.

Lisa smiles a little and starts touching herself. Chad could not help but watch.

Lisa whispered softly and says, “come here.”

Chad was tempted, but he walked away slowly and then ran out the door.
