josh goes to save Hannah and hunter however the odds are not in their favor and they are taken down as each attack on zack seemily does no damange at all. his boys take them out to the junkyard to end things once and for all. zack tells them that the are just 3 basic humans your not a protector (hunter) a angel (Hannah) or a prince (josh). zack puts the gun on joshs head but josh asks him at the last minute who he is. zack laughs as he reveals the truth we all figured out. he was behind the death of Hannah and hunter father, he was behind many of the attacks on joshs family and freinds as well as many many more evil actions. josh gathers himself while still looking down towards the ground he says did you catch that. zack ponders what he meant. the camera pans in on hananh who for the first time this season finally smiles. she tells zack that you just confessed to attacking me, killing my father and a whole lot of crimes against the people he considers his family...do you still think your safe from the man that does anytning for his fam. josh starts making pissed off noises as zack looks confused at josh and hunter points out that hes a cop so he doesn't wanna be nice to a crimal espcailly one that killed his dad but you might wanna start running. josh breaks out of the ropes and quickly overpowers zack. zack boys quickly step to stand between the three and their leader. zack meantions that they are out numbered and that he destroyed joshs family and he also destroyed hannahs family. he goes to turn to walk away but jossh replies that he was right he destroyed my family and you destroyed hannahs family however you forgot about one family. everyone looks around confused. hannah simply states "our family." a call back to Hannah saying their never be a family. suddenly from all around the junkyard appears their family. of course its not their blood family members but its the family that have built on their own and how they are all connected somehow.their allies and their long time rivals all standing together. its like a avenger endgame scene.

the camera pans over to a news reporter getting sent a video and she looks at it and is stunned to see whats on it and she demands that they connect the phone to the live broadcast. back in the junkyard the huge brawl jumps off and zack high tails it. josh defends Hannah but then trevor and tony appear and they tell him to go get him and that they got her. the two main rivals of josh's who said that he'll never get the girl of his dreams is now offering to watch over her safety. josh and Hannah look at each other for a moment before josh heads off to get zack. there are major team ups from rivals and allies even attacks from reuited partners. just as zack gets to the getaway car josh slams him to the ground. the two finally have their proper one on one match. zack has the power and speed advagnte however josh has the advangute of the heart and willpower. they have a punch for punch fight. zack gets josh in a headlock but then he tells josh that he'll never be good enough for hananh however that sets josh off. josh ends up escaping the headlock and then he breaks zacks knee, ankle,arm and wrist to finally win the fight. josh sits next to zack and says that might be true but i'm good enough to try. Hannah and hunter along with the other main characters come out after taking out zack boys. josh stands up towards Hannah and she walks towards him leading to their hug and josh smiles. Kelsey points out that its bout time my best friend smiles- another call back since Kelsey never officially called josh her best friend. the screen flicks back to a new stand doing a ordionalry story when the reporters get breaking news and they address it and the video of zack confessing is shown. the entire newsroom is speechless and moments later the phones around the community starts getting notifications and shared postings of the confession. back in the junkyard joshs phone goes off and he sees the social media madness and he states its over. however Hannah doesn't think it is and everyone wonders whats left but their confusion is put to sleep when Hannah gives josh the kiss the fans have been asking for. their kiss is ended when a mega amount of cops pull up to the scene. hunter makes a joke that well i cant wait to have my fun little sitdown with i.a when they ask me their questions...i wonder if i can order myself a pizza for it.

sitting on a police car Hannah puts her head on joshs shoulder as they take the sight in. slowly but surely everyone heads off in different directions. they realize its time for them to go the station so they each get into the police car from the two doors and they both look back at the junkyard and they both see the same thing- their parents that are no longer with them standing in the middle of the open area. josh and Hannah look back at each other and then they get into the car. as the car drives off Hannah grabs joshs hand and she looks at him and she asks him a question we've all been waiting for a answer for over 5 seasons "why didn't you move on" josh simply smiles as he says "redemption" Hannah smiles back at him and then she says the words josh has been wanting for the last few years "redemption compelte" the camera pans into the sky as the noises become silent.

the camera comes back from the sun to a house with a major backyard. and a lot of the cast that we have spent years watching grow up and experience life is having a backyard party full of food, drinks and entermient. Kelsey runs into the backyard with joyfulness and she says they're here. everyone stops and looks as the camera spins around to see josh and Hannah holding two babyseats with little ones in them. Hannah speaks as she introuduces everyone to their daughter- rose- and then introduces everyone to their son- Jason. as everyone gets a closer view josh says to his kids "we're your parents and this is your family" the show that had a basic meaning of its not your real family that counts its the family you create along the good and bad experinces that counts finally comes to a end with that meaning.
