Secrets not to be told

🫂

By ReadingforfunPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Samantha had been carrying a secret for years. It was a secret that she had never told anyone, not even her closest friends or family. The weight of the secret had been slowly eating away at her, and she knew that she couldn't keep it inside any longer.

One day, Samantha decided that she needed to confess. She went to her local church and asked to speak to a priest. She was nervous and scared, but she knew that she needed to do this.

The priest listened patiently as Samantha poured out her heart. She told him everything, holding nothing back. She was afraid of what he might say, afraid that he would judge her or condemn her. But the priest simply listened, nodding and offering words of comfort and understanding.

When Samantha had finished, the priest told her that she was not alone. He told her that everyone had secrets, and that it was important to share them with someone else. He reminded her that she was loved, and that God had forgiven her.

Samantha left the church feeling lighter than she had in years. She realized that the weight of her secret had been lifted, and that she could finally move on with her life. She felt grateful to the priest for listening to her and for offering her comfort and support.

From that day on, Samantha felt like a new person. She was more open and honest with her friends and family, and she felt like she could finally be herself. She knew that confessing her secret had been the right thing to do, and she was grateful for the opportunity to do so.
