Secret agent
A historical Drabble

At 600 hours, a Special Operations Executive agent was dropped by a parachute into enemy territory. Safely on the ground, he quickly buried the jumpsuit and parachute.
Under his jumpsuit, he was wearing casual clothes. He carried clothes for changing and a briefcase full of documents in the inside pocket of his jumpsuit between his back and the parachute rack.
He was ready to inform his location to his contact from the counter revolutionary movement by a shot from his light pistol. Five armed enemy agents surrounded him. There was no escape. Someone had betrayed him. The mission had failed.

Author’s Notes: This year marks the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.
A special Operations Executive (SEO) was a British wartime organisation in the 1940s responsible for illegal strikes that the government did not want to give to its own special troops. The then Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill said their mission was to “set Europe ablaze.”
