RUNAWAY

Episode 1

The loud bang woke her up. She screamed thinking it’s a dream but he was there. Sitting on her bed. She looked around the room,her thoughts,flying back to the moment she slept. “It was dark,and there was no one at home. I locked my door,and I turned off the music”. She kept Wondering how he got in till he hit the bed again,bringing her back.

“You must really think you have time to think. Meet me outside in a second”

With that,he stood and left the room. She sighed and went back to sleep.

And I stood pacing around the room,thinking of the best story line for our literature project to be submitted in few hours.

“Guys guys guys I’ve got it” I said running towards them at the table.

“Please don’t come in here with one of those unrealistic bruhaha you drown us in”East lashed. Of course that’s her duty

“Let the Confused breathe East” May helped. Or not

“Anyway guys. This is good,a good one. Here’s the idea,we have less than 24hours. How about we pay a visit to the old church?”I said with a grin

Yes……THAT CHURCH!!!

“There’s absolutely no way I’m going in that church with you guys” East grumbled making her way to the entrance.

“Sure you can just fail” I Shouted ahead of them. May was half way towards the entrance away from East. Her mind wasn’t ready,but her body wouldn’t allow her fail a class she could’ve have faced her fears and passed. She also knew how important it is for her to pass this project.

“We can do it East,besides,what’s bad in an old church?

“ People just make us Believe there’s something wrong. But come to think of it, the old church used to be a church, right? And the church is a place of solace”. May said trying to make us all feel better.

I laughed in a distance, looking at both of them and shaking my head

“ Come on guys, let’s just go what could be worse? Take the bull by the horn, they say”

Honestly, I wasn’t so sure about the word myself but I had to do it for my literature, education, peace of mind. OK I had to add peace of mind. Truth is I’ve heard a lot about the old church and all that has happened in it. Once I heard the story of the blind man who went into the church,got lost and never came out.

But he was blind. Maybe he lost his way I thought, or maybe he got trapped. Besides, we are not going to spend time in there. zoom in zoom out. You know how it is. why am I talking to myself? I’m worried.

I looked back and gave my friends a “come on”look. Wondering why I am leading this mission.
