Delilah
With shaky hands, I reach for the doorbell like button to unlock the door for my new roommate. Why I am nervous, I have no clue. This is just a guy that needs a place while he looks for his new home in the city. I'm helping out a friend who is helping me in return. Nodding to myself for justifying that, I open the front door so he can enter the apartment.
Footsteps grow closer and I realize that I am still wearing the holy shirt and shorts from cleaning. No time to change now. Great first impression. Checking my hair quickly in the mirror by the door to make sure I am not completely disheveled. I get a few strands back into their place before I hear a sigh outside the door.
Throwing it open, my heart stops. Holy shit! This man is unbelievable. Shaggy dark brown hair, dark eyes, chiseled jaw, broad shoulders leading down to what through his v-neck shirt is a Greek God like body.
He stretches his large hand out to me, "You must be Delilah. I am Travis. Nice to meet you." His smile almost blinding. Perfect white teeth greet me.
"Yeah, hi, it's great to meet you too, Travis." Can't help but stutter. My breath is ragged. Think my panties melted from the heat he created with that smile.
"May I come in?" Not realizing that I am blocking the door. He continues to smile as he stands in the doorway with that body, smile, and ugh, that voice.
"Shit, sorry, come on in, I'll show you around." Forcing my feet to move, I get out of the way so he can enter his new place.
Travis drops his bags at the door, shuts the door, and places his hands on his hips. "This is an amazing place. My Aunt wasn't kidding. How long have you lived here?"
"Uh, let me show you the room that will be yours. I've been here for around three years now. I love it." Grabbing one of his bags grunting at the weight. Travis chuckles and takes it from me.
I take him on a tour of the place. Show him his cabinets, what shelves in the fridge are his. Luckily he had a bathroom of his own. He liked that fact as well. Lastly, we go to his room. Thankfully, Julie left the bed and a nice size television in the bedroom. Travis set his bags near the closet then sat on the bed checking it out. That smile appeared again giving his approval.
"Alright, I will leave you to it. I work at 8 a.m. so, I am going to shower, have dinner and chill in my room. Go ahead and make yourself comfortable." Flashing my dazzling white smile at him.
"Cool. Maybe we could have dinner tomorrow night and get to know one another a bit? If we are going to share this place we should probably know what drives the other crazy." He has a seriousness to him that worries me a bit.
"Great idea. I get home around five. Surly I can have dinner done by seven." Turning to leave the room he stops me.
"I planned on making dinner for you. I mean, you were kind enough to let me move in here without even meeting me first. You must trust my Aunt." A devilish chuckle fills the room and I feel the wetness between my legs. I've gotta get away from him, now.
"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow night then." Quickly getting the hell out of the room. Travis was making himself more comfortable on the bed and my body wanted desperately to attack.
As I shut the door he yelled, "Dinner will be at seven!"
Giggling into my hand, I rush to my room and immediately call Parker. "So! Tell me about him!" She had been waiting all afternoon for this call.
"Mrs. Bentley left out way too much about her nephew!" Checking my door making sure it is shut. HE does not need to hear me gushing like a teenage girl.
"Oh Delilah, tell me everything!" She is chomping at the bit to know about this guy.
"He is amazing! Tall, dark, and handsome just how we like them and that voice. His voice could melt your clothes! My big question is why does he need a roommate? You would think his family would set him up. You know as well as I that Mrs. Bentley and her husband are not hurting for money. That leads me to think that his parents are sitting pretty as well. He is making me dinner tomorrow night to thank me. Maybe he will spill and not realize." All I hear on the other end is Parker's heavy breathing. "Why are you breathing so heavy?"
"Oh. What? Um, doing my cardio. Haven't all week. Waiting for you to call was taking too long. Needed to do something to waste time and then the damn phone rang. Just be careful with this guy. Yeah, we know his Aunt. Yeah, we know they have money. That doesn't mean that he isn't the bad boy. The black sheep. Ya know what I mean?" Her breathing calms and she gets serious.
"I get it. Don't let his hotness blind me from what could be going on. I won't Parker. I got this." Finishing up. we hang up and I go to take my shower.
Sleep didn't come easy. Every little noise was new and made me jump. It is going to take some time to get used to having someone else in this place again. He is a night owl. It was almost light out before all went quiet and I could get some real sleep in. Not much. In no time .... BUZZ BUZZ BUZZZZZZ Time to go to wok.
