I woke up from a bad dream.
I should've felt relieved, but I did not.
Instead, I found myself trapped in an altered reality. Landmines of distorted perceptions lay hidden beneath, waiting to detonate. Wires intertwined with thoughts, blurring the lines between dream and wakefulness. Shadows whispered sinister secrets while twisted apparitions danced like evil sugar plums. In a cruel twist, it seemed safer to retreat to the nightmare's realm with known rules and familiar horrors than to navigate this precarious, altered reality.
Now, I'm forever bound to the invasive tendrils of the chip deep within my brain.
