Raising your head truly makes you beautiful
No matter if the cow is white or black, the milk is always white

Jenny, a little girl raised in a small town, her life was always filled with tranquility. However, this calm was disrupted by her inner unease. She always kept her head down, seemingly afraid of others' gaze, especially those critical eyes. She felt she was not beautiful enough, not outstanding, this sense of inferiority was like a heavy stone, weighing on her heart.
One day, Jenny gathered the courage to visit the town's jewelry store. She hoped to find some small trinkets to make herself look less ordinary. Among the many items, her eyes were drawn to a green hair bow. It was small, delicate, and brightly colored, as if it could bring a touch of vitality. She bought it, filled with anticipation.
Upon returning home, Jenny couldn't wait to put on the bow. The store owner, while selling, continuously praised her for looking more beautiful with the bow. Jenny didn't believe it, but a warm wave surged within her, and she couldn't help but raise her head, as if the bow had truly given her strength. She was eager to show off her new look, even forgetting to notice that she bumped into someone on her way out.
Jenny walked into the classroom, meeting her teacher head-on. The teacher saw her with her head held high, her eyes flashing with delight, she said gently, "Jenny, you look beautiful when you raise your head!" The teacher's words were like a gentle breeze, filling Jenny with joy. She had never thought that she would receive so much praise just for raising her head.
On that day, Jenny received many compliments. Her classmates surrounded her, enviously asking her the secret to her beauty. Jenny was secretly pleased, thinking that all this praise was due to that green bow. She even began to doubt whether she was truly not beautiful, just because she hadn't discovered her own beauty.
However, when Jenny returned home, she couldn't help but stare at herself in the mirror. She was surprised to find that there was no bow on her head, it must have been lost when she bumped into someone at the store. She felt a sense of disappointment, and a doubt rose in her mind: Could all the compliments be due to that nonexistent bow?
Jenny began to reflect, realizing that she might have relied too much on external adornments to seek confidence. She started to try to change, no longer paying too much attention to her appearance, but began to focus on her inner world. She started learning new knowledge, participating in various activities, and gradually discovered her interests and hobbies.
Over time, Jenny became increasingly confident. She no longer kept her head down, but walked with her head held high in the schoolyard. Her smile became brighter, and her gaze more determined. Her classmates were surprised to find how much she had changed; she was no longer the timid little girl, but a vibrant, confident young woman.
Jenny's story tells us that beauty is not just external, but also internal. When we learn to appreciate ourselves and believe in our value, we can find our own beauty. That green bow might have been just a catalyst, but what it truly brought to Jenny was confidence and courage. From then on, Jenny no longer feared others' gazes, she courageously faced life, writing her own life chapter with confidence and effort.
