William's POV

The next day I found myself moving a bit slower than usual, I have not heard anything more from my father regarding the move other than just that text that was sent to my sister and what was said to me yesterday, but I plan to get far more information than that.

"You ready for work today?" Mae asks as I walk out of the kitchen into the living room sipping my mug of coffee, I shrug and put the cup down on the coffee table and sit down on the couch. "I plan on getting more information while I am there though, dad would be so lucky if we stuck around long enough to find out," I stated as I turned the television onto the morning news. "How does he expect us to move when we built a living here," Mae states as she leans back against the wall on the far right corner of the room. "To be fair, it's been twenty years Mae, how long do you think until people around us start to notice that we're not aging," I ask feeling a small bit of sadness as I remember the doppelganger to Rachel yesterday.

Mae shrugs and looks away as if it's going to change what will happen. "Listen, I'll speak with father today, but you know him...Once he gets his mind set on something it doesn't change." I state as I get up to leave for work. "Hey Will?" Mae calls out as I open the door to the hallway. "Yeah?" I answer with a pause. "Do you think that it'll be soon?" "I press my lips together and look back at her. "I'm determined to find out," I replied as I walked out into the hallway.

Rachel's POV

I continued walking until I reached the store fronts, the sky had started raining about an hour ago though I had no overcoat or cloak to help keep me dry it did not make any difference apart from how chilled I am. Passerby's move past me quickly trying to rush to get the items they need from the merchants so they can make it home as quickly as possible. "Well, fancy meeting you here." I freeze and look up as I notice the voice coming from behind me. I slowly turn and look at who was behind me. "William..." I say, letting his name roll off my tongue like sweets. He smiled and brushed the rain our of his hair. "Miss Rachel, are we looking for more fruits?" He asked as he motioned behind him, " I know the way if you would like to walk with me?" I shake my head slowly, and return his smile. "Due to no chaperone, but perhaps soon." I state as I start to walk away. "May I at least offer you my over coat? It's raining and you're all wet from the rain." He suggests as he reached out and grabbed my arm, his touch was so soft and gentle...I wish we would never let it go. "Please." William whispered, his accent filling me until I almost cannot hold back. I draw in a deep breath and slightly open my mouth to respond. "William?" A soft voice calls out, I could recognize the accent immediately, almost identical. "William?" It calls again, before a young lady comes up behind him, she has a heart shaped face, with snow blond hair, she was wearing a brown dress with a matching cloak which hood was down. "William, father is looking for us, we must go now." She stated as she pulled lightly on his arm. "please, Miss Rachel...Meet me in the field across town tonight." William asks as he starts moving away. I did not have a chance to respond before he is completely out of sight.

I slowly make my way back to the Inn where I planned to get changed and into some dry clothes, my father who was in the parlor speaking with Liam. I slowly sneak by and find my way to my chambers, I slip on a light pink dress I quickly tie my hair back and lace it in a bun and make my way down to speak with my father and Liam.

William's POV

I get to Cale's Marketing, and make my way over to the couple employee's that were standing in the far corner "Good morning." I say, they nod and slowly walk away until I am standing there alone. I let out a sigh and make my way up to my office where I find my father standing in front of the window looking out.
