Rabid Devotion
Fictional Short Story: Devoted to the Darkness

The bed quaked with each heartbeat. Rope burns covered my wrists and ankles. My warm breath created a cloud into the cold bedroom air. And she stood right outside.
She would put on her special wig, her dark make up, her costume and would grab a weapon of choice. Her silhouette blanketed the doorway. As she entered the room her hard soled shoes made clunks on the hardwood floor.
I'm 6' tall and 200 lbs, yet I'm tied to my bedframe like an animal. Just the way she likes. My toes curl as her fingers wrap around my throat. "You know it's time" she growled.
I did the only thing I could and flung my head toward her forehead. She just laughed. "You think you can stop me?" She slapped my cheek as she mocked my resiliency. "You're such a fool. And look at you tied up wiggling like a worm."
Her wolf tattoo seemed to come alive and crawl up my chest and wrap around my neck. She controlled it with the motions of her hand. It's fangs dug into my jugular. Poison flowed from the point of entry to my toes. With my bulging muscles, I flexed my arms toward my chest and broke the ropes off my wrists. I picked her up and put her against the wall where she stiffened, but showed no fear.
The clouds outside the window moved from the full moon. I dropped her as my whole body cramped and clinched in pain. Yelling toward the ceiling in pain, my teeth turned to fangs. Silver hair grew from my body in an instant. A roar came from my lungs into the heavens above. I collapsed to the ground.
When I rose, I looked at her with my green eyes. She glared at me with her brown body hair with her brown eyes. I could not control my animal instincts. She bared her fangs at me and threw me back to the floor. She leapt out of the bedroom window and ran to the moonlight. She wasn't getting away from me. I followed her. Running on all fours with the grass beneath my paws and dirt flying, I was right on her tail. She's mine! I felt her tail hit my snout, and then in a blink, she was gone.
As soon as I looked to my left, I was thrown against a tree. An evil beast with blood dripping from his mouth was standing over me. I attacked with with my claws in his chest. I knew he got to her before I did! I was angry, she belonged to me! I went rabid. Foaming at my fangs, I gained an appetite for him.
With claws stretched out, I pounced. I bit his shoulder and his leg. He was slow getting up. But quickly bit me in my neck. My blood steamed on his razor fangs. He released and opened to bite again, until there she was. She leapt on his back and sliced his throat open with her claws. He fell dead beneath her.
Exhausted, my eyes met hers. I had no fight left in me. She was growling and so I growled back. She stood in the attack position. Warm blood from my neck was flowing down my fur. I couldn't move. She noticed my vulnerability. She approached me slowly with heavy breaths. Again, my warm breath left another cloud, but this time, beneath the stars.
In examination, her snout brushed my bloody silver hair on my neck. I took a deep breath in anticipation. She licked my wounds. Every lick felt warm and soothing. She put her head against mine and licked the wounds again. I loved her as I always have. The wild seething beast being yin and yang to her soft and caring love.
She wasn't always this beast. She was the most pure and beautiful human being, but it wasn't enough for her. She wanted to be a part of me. She wanted to feel me flow through her veins. During a beautiful moonlit evening of my skin against hers, I dug my fangs into her and with a deep breath, she wholly took me in...Mind, body, and soul.
