“We’re here on 98.1 WDIA with Clutch Gang 302 talking about the loss of his camrade Slum God 5G. Thank you for being here,” Kalisa Farrah said.

“Thank you,” Clutch Gang 302 replied.

“Now it’s been two weeks since his death, which has been linked to the QR code murders that have been plaguing the city. What do you make of all of this increased violence in Wilmington?”

“You know. We’re tatted up. We’re out here. We know the risks of the game and how it goes.”

“Right. So how do you feel about informing?” Kalisa asked.

“Snitching? Nah. I can’t sign off on that.”

“Yes, but this was your friend…wouldn’t you want someone to step forward with information?”

“I’m saying I don’t snitch and I can’t condone such activity. It’s not in my world. How I move is different from how other people move. You know?”

“I just want to know how many of your friends must die over these senseless starts of force. Would you condone it if it were closer to? An uncle? Aunt? Niece? Nephew? Brother? Sister? Mom? Dad?”

Clutch Gang 302 looked pensive. His face sort of hung like he’d been given novocaine.

“I…I mean that doesn’t change anything for me. I’m not going to tell. If someone wants to open their mouth, they’ve got to be prepared for the consequences.”

“Okay,” Kalisa. “Let’s shift gears. You have a project out, now. Gun Buckin’ Wit’ ‘Em. It’s currently available on all streaming platforms. Why this playlist? Why now?”

“I’ve been working on this album since way before Slum’s demise. He’s featured all over it and his residuals will go to his family.”

“That’s good to know.”

“Yeah, so it was strategic to drop it now because I wanted to keep the feeling going. We’ve got a movement. We’re the ones moving it. Yeah, Slum got hit. But his memory will never die.”

“Will you be able to keep the team together with the remaining members of the group, Got Eem Fifth Street?”

“GEFS couldn’t make it here because he’s recording right now and wants his music album out before the holidays. That’s the fourth quarter.”

“In all your life, what has been the most rewarding thing?”

“It’s what Slum was trying to do. He wanted out of Delaware. It’s a shame he got taken out before we all could really blow up like we should have. Whoever it is out there that’s targeting rappers, there's something for you.”

“Well, we’re gonna end that thread. What about the movie that you’re producing? How is that coming along?”

“It feels good. GEFS and I wrote the script and I directed it. It’s going straight to our website dirtysouthbridge.com. It’s dedicated to Slum’s memory. Again, a portion of all downloads will go right to his family.”

“What are you doing to combat this current rise in violence?”

“I don’t know if I’m the one who should be doing anything. Cops are supposed to do all that. That’s not my job. In the movie, you’ll see our perspective on the business, on Delaware, what the cops should do, it’s got something for everyone.”

“In closing, what do you think your supporters should consider when selecting your playlist and movie?”

“I just want people to remember Slum. He had such a great impact on the group and on the game in general. GEFS and I are still holding him down despite the fact he’s no longer here. I want his family to know that we’ve got them forever.”

“Well, I thank you, Clutch Gang 302 for offering his thoughts on these topics and I thank you for streaming this broadcast. Until next time, be well.”
