"Possession Unveiled: A Journey into the Supernatural"
How do know if someone get possessed by resentful energy?

Those who were possessed by demons in Scripture showed certain symptoms. They include the following:
1. Cannot Control Themselves
A person who is under the control of a demon cannot control themselves. The evil spirit is able to speak through their lips or can make them mute as it so desires. Scripture gives examples of demon-possessed people who were mute.
2. New Personality
Demon-possession means that a new personality is introduced to that person - the victim becomes a different person. The Gadarene demoniac acted and spoke as one who was controlled by another personality
3. Different Voice
Sometimes those who are demon-possessed speak with a different voice.
4. Supernatural Knowledge
In one incident, the demons speaking through a man, immediately recognized Jesus as the Messiah.
Just then there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out, "What have You to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are, the Holy One of God"
5. New Abilities
A person who is demon-possessed acquires new abilities. For example, those possessed by demons can demonstrate superhuman strength. The Bible speaks of one demoniac in the following way.
6. Suicidal Tendencies
Demon possession can lead to suicidal tendencies. The Bible says of one person who was demon-possessed.
It has often cast him into the fire and into the water, to destroy him; but if you are able to do anything, have pity on us and help us (Mark 9:22).
It seems that demons want to physically destroy the person they possess.
The concept of possession by ghosts, demons, or spirits is deeply rooted in folklore, mythology, and religious beliefs across various cultures around the world. While modern science and skepticism often dismiss these claims as superstitions or psychological phenomena, there are still individuals who firmly believe in the existence of possession and offer various explanations to support their beliefs. However, it's essential to approach this topic with a critical and open-minded perspective, taking into account both scientific and cultural viewpoints.
One common thread in stories of possession is the belief that a person's behavior or mental state is altered or controlled by an external entity. These changes are typically characterized by radical shifts in personality, unusual physical manifestations, or the person exhibiting knowledge or abilities beyond their normal capacity. The signs and symptoms of possession vary widely among different cultures and belief systems, making it challenging to establish a universal framework for identifying possession.
In many Western cultures, possession is often associated with demonic entities. The belief in demonic possession has deep historical and religious roots, with exorcism rituals being performed in various religious traditions, including Christianity and Islam, to free individuals from perceived demonic influence. Signs of demonic possession in these traditions can include speaking in languages unknown to the possessed person, displaying superhuman strength, and an aversion to religious symbols or holy objects.
In contrast, other cultures view possession as a spiritual or shamanic experience rather than a malevolent one. In certain indigenous cultures, shamans or spiritual leaders may enter altered states of consciousness to communicate with spirits or ancestors. These altered states can include trance-like states, hallucinations, and speaking in tongues, which may be interpreted as signs of possession by those who are unfamiliar with these practices.
In the realm of the paranormal and supernatural, there are numerous accounts of individuals claiming to have witnessed possession or experienced it themselves. These accounts often involve eerie and unexplained phenomena, such as objects moving on their own, disembodied voices, and sudden changes in temperature. While such occurrences are intriguing, they lack concrete scientific evidence to substantiate claims of possession by ghosts or spirits.
From a scientific perspective, many supposed cases of possession can be attributed to psychological and neurological factors. Conditions such as dissociative identity disorder (formerly known as multiple personality disorder), schizophrenia, and epilepsy can lead to altered states of consciousness, personality changes, and bizarre behaviors that may be mistaken for possession. In these cases, a person's mind may create alternate identities or exhibit symptoms that are difficult to explain without a psychological framework.
Furthermore, cultural beliefs and suggestion can play a significant role in shaping people's experiences and interpretations of possession. When individuals strongly believe in the possibility of possession and engage in rituals or practices associated with it, they may be more likely to perceive ordinary events as supernatural or interpret their own behavior through the lens of possession.
In conclusion, the question of how to determine if someone is possessed by a ghost, demon, or spirit remains a complex and contentious issue. Belief in possession is deeply intertwined with culture, religion, and individual experiences, making it challenging to arrive at a definitive answer. While there are countless stories and anecdotes about possession, scientific explanations rooted in psychology, neurology, and cultural influences often provide more plausible explanations for these phenomena. Ultimately, the determination of possession is a matter of personal belief and interpretation, and it continues to be a topic of debate and fascination in our diverse and complex world.
