We traveled for half of a day taking small rests before actually planning on camping . It was getting dark soon . We came upon a nice den that may have been abandoned . The den looks like it was made by a Drox ( Gerbil looking canines with the size and mannerisms of foxes from our world ) . The nest was a decent size , it was probably made for a large Drox family . Since we had extra protection there wasn't a need for us to be taking shifts sleeping tonight . After receiving gifts from their king himself . We felt perfectly comfortable around the soldiers we were once fighting .

We were leaving in the morning when were attacked. As a result we probably received the best sleep that we have gotten during the whole mission . I woke up refreshed and ready to go . I stretched and drank water as I waited for John and Bulls Eye to wake up . Then I noticed something was off , where are our insect friends ?

Moments later I saw an unrecognizable bat guy chasing our dino vulture that is holding our insect friends ! They must've been scouting the area and then they started getting chased . I quickly woke up the guys who were comfortable sleeping close to each other like babies ( Just a funny thought I had in the middle of the emergency ) .

I shook them both hard while yelling. " Wake up sleepy heads ! We have some uninvited company ! They both sprung up used to surprise attacks at this point and grabbed their weapons . Still disoriented Bulls Eye asked me what's going on . I pointed at the flying dino vulture returning and the bat guy following it .

Suddenly the bat guy shot forward like an arrow at frighting speed slicing the dino vulture in half . The insect warriors jumped on him why they were still airborne during the attack . They stabbed him with their poison staffs before getting thrown to the ground themselves . The shaman jumped off of the dino vulture right before the attack and I dived to the ground to catch him . I put him down near a tree and asked him to watch our backs .

Small balls of water came shooting at high speeds at Me , John and Bulls Eye from a nearby forest . We all barely dodged because they all exploded like bombs when they hit the ground . Sending us rolling on the ground . The bat guy did another fast lunge at John . The speed was so amazing that I concluded that it must be magic . John was barely able to block the attack from his sword . Even though John blocked the attack , he was knocked back slightly .

10 balls of water were suddenly spotted in the sky and came raining down on the area John was located at . He dodged the ball but the accumulated explosions sent him flying once again into the air . At that exact same instant the bat guy lunged at John with his sword while he was off guard from the explosions .

In that instant Bulls Eye's arrow came shooting through the air . At the exact right time he blocked the sword attack from the bat guy . During the middle of all of that I tried to keep my eye on the forest the water attacks kept coming from . In the same instant I was watching the other guys fighting I was sent flying by a stream of water .
