It wasn’t an emergency alert . That means that he doesn’t believe that we were spotted , and that the little people aren’t creeping around our tree or general area . That also must mean that Bulls Eye only spotted them and nothing more . I planned to keep track of everything that we saw using my notepad . ( They use pen and paper just like in our world ) I gave him the signal that I noted what he said and to continue watching . That also alerted me , to make sure I was doing my part while I was watching as well . Since John was sleeping , it was mandatory that we covered his direction as well .

A few hours passed and then I saw about 50 of the little extinct people heading towards the center of the forest . Honestly that was suspicious enough by itself . Except that they were also headed in the same direction as the Sapphire Cave ! Maybe I was overreacting . I decided to calm down and signal to Bulls Eye what I saw . He tensed up , and then he looked in the direction that they walked in . He could see them too . He gave me the same signals , confirming that he saw the same thing . I took the notes , and I was just relieved that we weren’t being assaulted at the moment . We were both aware to keep a look out for random scouts that would be on the outsides . We were learning how they operate .

After about 30 mins passed without us seeing any scouts or anything else suspicious . I then decided to climb up to Bulls Eye’s branch . I figured we could have a quick meeting before he goes to sleep . I also woke John up quickly too . It was efficient for us to have the meeting right now with everyone present . We both climbed up to Bulls Eye after I woke up John . We briefly filled John in on what we saw . While at the same time confirming that we were receiving the correct signals. When we were finished talking . John whispered ,“ So from what you both say those little buggers are either waiting to ambush us. Or even worse their home is the forest or the Sapphire Cave ?” We both replied at the same time “Yes”. Short and simple . Sometimes it’s like me and Bulls Eye are twin brothers . I could slowly feel a connection growing between me and John too .

After the conversation we had , the 3 of us decided to stick with the plan . We will continue to observe and watch . We won’t make any moves or decisions until all 3 of us are well rested and when we have the light of the morning sun . We let Bulls Eye go to sleep next . I'll be last in the last stretches of the night but at least I will have reliable body guards .

Activity was quiet for the next few hours . John didn't seem like the patient type but he did his job better than I thought he would . When he first saved me I had the impression that he was just a simple brawler with a nice personality . For this adventure to have been so eventful before we even reached the cave , he's been handling it well . At times I even caught him and Bulls Eye Smiling .

John was tapping his club in his hand while smiling . Almost as if he was daydreaming about smashing a little guy . Then he snapped out of it and looked at the sky . His face looked shocked . I tried to see what he was seeing but I couldn't from my position . After a few minutes had passed he gave me the signal . He saw 10 Dino Vultures heading towards Sapphire Cave !
