Part 1
"Do you feel any kind of anxiety when you are alone?" -Person 1
"No." -Layla
"Any breakdowns recently?" -Person 1
"Not any more." -Layla
"Then why did you jump off the building?" -Person 1
"What? When? I-I don't think I am at that state." -Layla
"Yes, you are, honey", Blood slowly started running down her head. -Person 1
"Where am I? Wait. Where are you going? Who are you?" (Layla), screams intensify in the background.
She wakes up. (Layla)
"Welcome back; you were sleeping for 2 days." -Person 2
"What was that?" -Layla
"You shouldn't have taken LSD." -Person 2
"I had a nightmare." -Layla
"I guess you still feel guilty for that murder you committed." "You must be hallucinating about that person." -Person 2
"Yes, in my dreams, he said I jumped off a building." -Layla
"Well, dreams are always related to you and not others. You could find a better way to murder someone than pushing them off any building, anyway." -Person 2
Alarm buzzes
"Prisoners are ordered to stay wherever they are for inspection." - Warden
Part 2
Two years ago,
"I mean, meds don't work, but I still feel something wrong with me." - Layla
"What do you feel?" -Person 1
"Kinda like throwing up all the time; headaches." -Layla
"How long has it been since you saw that accident?" -Person 1
"Well! It has been quite a while." -Layla
Phone rings
"Oh! Time's over. We will continue our therapy session as per our schedule the next day." -Person 1
She wakes up from the dream. (Layla)
"Hey, breakfast is ready; you feel good?" -Person 3
"I really feel like a complete psychopath." -Layla
"No, c'mon, it wasn't you; you didn't kill anyone." -Person 3
"I don't know; I don't remember." -Layla
"You just knew him for one night." -Person 3
"What?" -Layla
"Yes, you hooked up with him; what's wrong with you?" -Person 3
"No, I killed him." -Layla
"Shut up. The police will be arriving anytime soon. I got the lawyer. Better not speak your mind up." -Person 3
"Please, open the chains; my wrist hurts like hell." -Layla
Part 3
Two years later, in prison
"So, what's your full story?" How did you end up here in prison?" -Person 3
"I killed a guy. We met each other at a party and caught each other's eye. We started dating since then, and one day I killed him." -Layla
"Why?" -Person 3
"Because I was forced to do so." - Layla
"Who forced you?" -Person 3
"STOP TALKING INMATES. "Get up and move!" - Warden
One hour later, in Layla's hallucinations
"I guess she is responding." -Doctor
"Her condition is getting better; she's been in a coma for two years now." -Layla's Mother
"She was suffering from schizophrenia, and after that murder she saw, I don't know, but her condition became worse." -Doctor
"She was just a witness." -Layla's Mother
"There's a lot more going on with her than being just a witness." -Doctor
"I know whatever I have done, I am definitely not a good mother. To let my daughter see my crimes, it's my fault." -Layla's Mother
Part 4
"I saw mom." - Layla
"She said that it was her fault." -Layla
"Is it why she committed suicide after that?" -Layla
She turned around. (Layla)
"Hey, are you okay? Who are you talking to? What were you dreaming for so long?" -Person 3
"Nothing." -Layla
"What's about the person that made you do all these? You didn't say shit." -Person 3
"It's a lady, and that was my husband I killed. I remember now. That was my husband. She brainwashed me." -Layla
"What? And where is that lady now?" -Person 3
"She's dead. She made me kill my husband, and she forced me to say that I didn't at the court so I could be tortured by her forever. So I killed her. She did all this for revenge." -Layla
"What revenge?" -Person 3
"She manipulated me to such an extent that I lost my sanity. The traumas are haunting me still." -Layla
She starts panicking. (Layla)
"But the revenge?" -Person 3
"My mother committed suicide. She was the reason." -Layla
"Why? What had happened here?" -Person 3
"It was all planned. That lady is standing in front of me." -Layla
She faints. (Layla)
Part 5
"Yes, schizophrenia is worse than you think. That lady whom Layla creates every day is not a real person, and she was the actual murderer of Layla's husband. That lady made Layla kill her husband. Her mother isn't even alive. She died three years ago. She misses her." -Person 2
"But she said her mother committed suicide?" -Person 3
"Yes, that's what her mother did in front of her. She sometimes thinks she is not in jail. She thinks this is a hospital where she is lying unconscious. Her mother is standing there blaming herself for her daughter's condition. She thinks her illness would be better if her mother was alive." -Person. 2
"That lady is her hallucination and wanted to kill her husband, so she killed him. She is a total psycho." -Person 2
"Where is she now?" -Person 3
"Maybe they took her to a mental asylum now." Person 2
"You want to know more?" -Person 2
"Yeah." -Person 3
"You were the reason for her mother's suicide." -Person 2
"What are you saying?" -Person 3
"You have psychogenic amnesia, and she was your dear friend. You are here because of her mother's suicide. You framed her for your crimes. You were the one who made Layla go crazy because you made her mother commit suicide in front of her. You are the one about whom she hallucinates in her mind. You both need to go to a mental asylum." -Person 2
"I don't remember anything; I did that." Who am I? Who does Layla hallucinate about all the time?" Person 3
"The therapist about whom she hallucinates is her dead husband, who still loves her in her dreams. The person who tortures her in her hallucinations is you. She doesn't recognise you, but she still hallucinates about you. -Person 2
"You were just a small fire that created a big explosion in her life. You made her mother commit suicide, which made Layla go crazy and murder her husband because she started hallucinating about you because you killed her mother. You still torture her in her dreams. The hallucinated person might not be a real version of you, but it's a made-up version of you in her mind, and she doesn't recognise you, and even you don't recognise her." -Person 2
"........" -Person 3.
