Whilst the waves rocked the boat, Aidan delighted in savoring his dinner. Observing a piece of crab before placing its garlic buttery drenched goodness into his mouth.

"Magnificent, no wonder it's one of their favorite foods."

Thinking about all of the positive reinforcement he's given his pets, they've come a long way in problem solving and critical thinking. Though they may be food motivated, he enjoyed all of their interactions with him.

Sadly though, he's been losing test subjects left and right. Well, that's the process of selective breeding. The most intelligently capable of thinking concretely and abstractly would survive, passing on their genes. Regardless of cruelty, Aidan thought it was the best way to motivate them. Only the best would be able to solve the puzzling problems, gaining nutritional access. Several times he's had to separate a few of them from fighting in desperate attempts to kill each other for sustenance. Though, they tend to develop a taste after being forced to cannibalize their dead when left to their own devices.

CLANK! CLUTTER!

Putting his cutlery down immediately, Aiden headed towards the sounds origin.

"It'll be a day when I can finally relax in peace and-"

Startled as he was, it didn't surprise him to see one of his best test subjects on deck, meeting him eye-to-eye.

"Sunova-," rushing at his specimen, he prepared his taser. Backing into the doorway, it hid from sight. Following quickly behind, he fell right into their clutches. The door locked behind him. "No..."
