Code is everywhere. “What can we do?!” She asked, her voice slightly shaking but distinct and sincere. “All of these PhDs and MDs and we still don’t have a cure for all these ailments?”

Doctor Vasquez folded her arms and sighed. She looked down at the tile floor of the hospital.

“We’re trying to get the most out of the donations people provide, but with the government in the way, it’s not like our hands are tied. It’s like we don’t have hands.”

Dallison Daltry looked at the light above. Until the glare became too much and she looked away.
