Pastsight
A Verb - to always be looking at and/or living in your past.

Pictures on her phone. Pictures on her wall. Pictures that surrounded her every thought. How could she escape the feelings they brought her? A happy young woman, engaged to him with a bright future ahead. All of her teeth still in place, a slimmer figure and a smile on her face.
It all seemed like it was perhaps just yesterday, or maybe even a week or two ago. In reality, it had been over a decade. Her pastsighting was suddenly interrupted by a ringing noise from her phone. Annabel, her sister. Reluctantly, she answers.
"Hey sis" She says, in what she believes to be a crisp feminine voice. "How many cigarettes have you smoked today?" She asked, not even saying hello. She used to always say hello with such enthusiasm. "I can't remember" She replied, with pure honesty. "How have you been?" "How have I been?" Annabel answered, clearly angered "sorry" She then added, fixing her tone "yea I've been alright sis. Just living life. How are you doing sis... honestly"
She paused when Annabel asked that question. How was she honestly doing? Would Annabel want the truth or a comforting answer? She looked around to see that she still wore the same style of clothes as she did ten years ago. Nothing around her had changed, except for herself. Annabel was still playing hop-scotch in one photo she had on the wall. Why had so much changed yet at the same time so little?
"I don't know" She replied.

I kinda suck at writing but I enjoy it
Anyway, here's a dumb little haiku:
The gunslinger draws
His opponent does the same
oh dear, they both died
