I’m Carter, a profesional partier. I was hired to work at parties as the guy who pumped people up. I got them drinking and dancing and having a good time.
A popular soda company named McKewls was offering guided tours of its soda factory, and hired me to party with the tourists and get them excited about the tour. I applied for and got the job. I was excited for my first day, until they told me I couldn’t leave. They forced me to party forever, all so the tourists would buy more soda and they could make a fortune.

I was at my desk and I got a text. I was on break so I opened it. The text said, “you’ve got a virus.” “Crap,” I said. My phone started making a humming sound and I couldn’t stop staring at my phone. I had the uncontrollable urge to play the sound for everyone at the office. They all started staring at their phones and they all downloaded the same virus. We left the office and played the sound for everyone we saw. They started staring at their phones too, and downloaded the same virus. We were all brainwashed zombies.

The Pot Boiling Over
Once, there was a pot of about 340 million drops and droplets. Most of them would like to think they lived together peacefully for decades, but that wasn’t true. Different regions struggled, sometimes fought, with each other. And the mainstreams still often pursued and attacked the minorities. Law enforcers sometimes pushed minority drops out of the pot, never to be seen again.
