Part 1: Blood Moon Academy

Vampire story

By Abdul QuddusPublished about a year ago 3 min read

Aria never thought she would attend Blood Moon Academy, a school for vampires hidden deep in the mountains. It was a place where humans were considered food, and only the strongest vampires survived. Aria wasn’t a vampire—not yet. She was what they called a “half-blood,” a human born with vampire ancestry. Her transformation into a full vampire hadn’t happened, but her blood was the key to unlocking her true power.

On her first day at the academy, Aria felt the cold eyes of the students on her. They all looked beautiful, with pale skin and sharp features, but there was a deadly hunger in their eyes. They could smell her humanity, and it made them restless. She walked through the grand hallways, where the walls were lined with old portraits of powerful vampires—heads of clans, rulers of kingdoms. Aria knew she didn’t belong here, but she had no choice. Her family sent her to Blood Moon Academy to complete the transformation or die trying.

In her first class, Aria met the vampire prince, Raiden. He was the most feared student in the academy, known for his ruthless power and cold heart. His eyes were like ice, and his presence made everyone around him uneasy. He glanced at Aria, his lips curling into a smirk. “A half-blood? How interesting,” he said in a low voice. “You won’t last long here.”

Aria ignored him, determined not to let fear control her. But she knew Raiden was right—she was weaker than everyone else. That night, as the full moon rose, Aria sat alone in her dorm room, staring at the blood-red sky. She could feel the pull of the moon, the way it made her heart race. The transformation was close, but something felt wrong. She could sense a presence watching her.

Suddenly, a shadow moved in the corner of the room. Before Aria could react, Raiden appeared, his eyes glowing red in the darkness. “Do you really think you can survive here?” he asked, his voice cold and mocking. “You’re just a human pretending to be one of us.”

What do you want from me?” Aria asked, her voice steady, though her heart raced with fear.

Raiden’s smirk faded. “You have no idea, do you? Your blood is special. It can awaken something in me, something ancient and powerful. That’s why you were sent here—not to transform, but to be used.”

Aria’s blood ran cold. She had suspected something was wrong, but this was worse than she had imagined. “You’re lying.”

I’m not,” Raiden said, stepping closer. “The academy doesn’t care about you. They want to use you to awaken the power of the ancients—through me.”

Aria’s heart pounded as she realized the truth. She had been sent here as a sacrifice. But she wasn’t going to let them take her without a fight. “I won’t let you use me,” she said, standing her ground.

Raiden’s eyes narrowed. “You don’t have a choice.

Before she could move, Raiden lunged at her, his fangs bared. But just as he reached her, Aria’s instincts kicked in. She dodged his attack, and with a surge of adrenaline, she felt a strange power awaken within her. Her vision sharpened, her senses heightened. She wasn’t fully human anymore.

Raiden stopped, surprised by her sudden strength. “You’re awakening,” he said, his voice filled with awe. “But it’s not like I expected.”

Aria glared at him, feeling the power course through her veins. She wasn’t going to be their pawn. She wasn’t going to be a victim. “Stay away from me,” she warned, her voice firm.

Raiden watched her, his expression unreadable. “You’ve just made things more interesting,” he said before disappearing into the shadows.

Aria stood in the moonlight, her heart still racing. She had survived the night, but she knew this was only the beginning. At Blood Moon Academy, danger lurked in every corner, and she would need every bit of her newfound power to survive.
