"Good afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Richard. My name is Doctor Johnathan L. Ludwig, I am one of the lead doctors for the discovery of the paradox-“

The video paused. Cassandra stared at the video shocked and confused as it seemed like ages since she made any attempt to find clues about the time paradox that the world is now under. Cassandra opened her satchel and begin to put in a chip to copy the video onto, she knew she was running out of time.

Captain!Captain! come in! The Known found out about us in the end zone! You need to get out! There seems to be a passage through the end zone… I can’t tell where exactly. Hurry Captain!

Evergreens! This is Captain Rose! All forces retreat back to the tunnels! Quickly! I’ll be there in a few!

Cassandra started panicking. How could it be that the known found them already? How did they get to the end zone? She begins to panic as she waited for the video to download on the chip. Now that the known had come this far, how much did they actually know about the paradox? Did they know this was going to happen? So many questions flew into Cassandra’s head as she begins to collect her notes.

Captain! Evergreens are all at the tunnels! Where are you!

Cassandra begins to think of a way out. If she goes the way she came then the known will be able to detect her presence and find the tunnels connecting but she may have more time to escape or at least warn her crew of the knowns in the tunnels. She closed her eyes and begin to think, she knew she was smart enough to figure a way out of this. As she begins to figure everything out, she froze in place. Chills begin to creep up her body as she felt the feeling of walking into a cold room after being extremely hot. It was like a cold breeze during a blizzard, freezing your sense and making you think of only one thing. Survival. Cassandra had felt the presence of the known and begin to pack her computer and forget the video, leaving the chip in the lab's computer. As she was collecting her things she heard a sound of a door opening, she turned around and saw a black box in the ground not sure where it came from. She was scared. Never seeing the known and still feeling their presence she didn’t know if maybe this box had anything to do with the feelings or the known themselves. As she slowly approaches the box, she begins to think of how much time she wasted looking for digital evidence rather than physical, she wished she knew more about the end zone and why there was a laboratory here. As she grabbed the box and opened it, she was shocked to discover a locket in the shape of a heart. The desire to wear it took over her feelings of fear and she wrapped it around her neck. The moment the locket went around her neck, a blast of colors begin to alter her vision.

It was like a virtual video of flying through space or something. Thoughts begin to go blank and Cassandra felt empty. Nothing seemed to explain the feelings or view she was seeing. All of sudden she felt one feeling, the feeling of deja vu. She couldn’t understand why she was feeling she has been here, like as if she was here just a minute ago or something under that feeling. Her gut between you feel like it’s tiring and her heart begins to pound and pound like a battle drum, pounding for a fight. As Cassandra got lost in what seemed like hours, a soft voice whispered in her ear “try….again.” As soon as the voice was heard, goosebumps ran through her body, her skin turned ice cold and she felt her heart stop. It was as if she was dying. She met death. While she begins to think about her life and all she hoped to achieve, a hand touched her shoulder.

“Captain!” A voice called, once Cassandra turned over she saw Leonard, her scout leader. She was confused and blinked a few times to see where she was. She started to turn in a circle, viewing everything. Leonard, her scout leader, stood with his four watchers next to the tunnel, on the left side of the tunnel stood her four scavengers who were sent to collect any data from the end zone. Why was she here? She realized what the voice said and looked at the tunnel, in a soft whisper, she smiled slightly “ I will try again”.
