Panda and smartphone

Excessive use of smartphones causes a lot of damage to our eyes and brain, so you should not use smartphones.

By Sudais ZakwanPublished about 6 hours ago 3 min read

Once upon a time, there was a panda whose father owned a smartphone. One day, when his father went out for some work, the panda picked up the smartphone and began exploring it. Soon, he discovered a game. Excitedly, he exclaimed, “Wow! A game! Now I can play games on dad’s smartphone!” and immediately started playing.

When his father returned home, he was surprised to see the panda playing on his phone. “How did you find out there was a game on my phone?” he asked.

The panda replied, “Dad, I was using your smartphone and suddenly saw the game, so I started playing. It’s really fun!”

His father, concerned, explained, “Son, first of all, you should always ask for permission before using someone else’s things. You used my phone without asking. Secondly, playing games on a smartphone too much can harm children’s eyes and mind. So, you should not play games on it anymore.”

The panda protested, “But Dad, I really want to play! It’s so much fun!”

His father scolded him firmly, “Stop playing now and give me the phone back.”

Pouting, the panda handed the phone over and sat on the sofa, thinking about how he could play again. Suddenly, he had an idea. “Ah! Mom also has a smartphone. Maybe it has games too!”

While his mother was busy cooking in the kitchen, the panda quietly picked up her smartphone and returned to his room to play games. This time, he was careful to put it back before she noticed. During the day, when his father went to the office and his mother was busy, the panda continued playing secretly.

After a few days, the panda wanted to play even more, so he started playing at night when his parents were asleep. Over time, he began to experience pain in his eyes, but he didn’t tell his parents, wanting to continue playing.

One morning, the panda woke up and shouted, “Mom! Mom! Please come quickly!” His mother rushed to him and asked, “What happened, dear?”

“I can barely see properly. Everything is blurry,” the panda cried. Alarmed, his parents took him to the doctor. After examining him, the doctor said, “I think your son has weakened his eyes because he has been using the smartphone too much.”

His mother asked, “Son, were you using the smartphone?” The panda admitted, “Yes, Mom! I was secretly playing games, even at night after you and Dad went to sleep.”

His father sighed, “Son, I had warned you that using a smartphone too much can weaken your eyes and harm your mind. If you had listened, your eyes wouldn’t be in this condition.”

The panda apologized, “Dad, I’m sorry. I won’t use the smartphone anymore.”

The doctor warned, “If he continues to use it, his vision will get worse.”

Finally, the panda had to wear very thick glasses. After the lesson, the teacher, Sir Bhalu, addressed the students, “Dear children, today’s story teaches us that excessive use of a smartphone can seriously harm your eyes and mind. So, you should avoid overusing smartphones.”

All the students together replied, “We will not use smartphones excessively, and we will protect our eyes and minds from harm.”
