One Woman, a Dog, and a Mysterious Prison
Girl Wakes Up Trapped Inside an Invisible Dome And Spends Years Trying to Escape

On November 5th, Fra grabs the notes she has been taking for months and begins writing a thorough report on how she got trapped in a remote mountain cabin. It all started in May, when she embarked on a vacation with two friends and their dog, Lynx.
Fra had never been comfortable around animals and felt awkward in Lynx's presence. When they arrived at the cabin, her friends decided to visit a nearby village pub, but Fra, exhausted, chose to stay behind. Left alone with Lynx, she tried to befriend him, only for him to snap at her. She spent the evening pampering herself, smoking, and exchanging awkward glances with the dog before going to bed early.
The Invisible Prison
The next morning, Fra woke up to find Lynx crying by the door. She let him out and searched the house, only to realize her friends had not returned. Worried, she decided to head to the village with Lynx leading the way.
Suddenly, she heard Lynx yelp. Rushing to his side, she found nothing visibly wrong. As she continued walking, Lynx turned back. Confused, Fra took a few more steps—only to slam into an invisible barrier. Panicked, she pressed her hands against it, confirming an unseen wall blocked her path. Strangely, no one in the village seemed to notice.
Determined, she walked back down the road and found a farmhouse with two people inside. But when she tried calling out, her voice didn’t cross the barrier. The people inside were frozen in place, yet water still flowed from a faucet. The eerie scene sent shivers down her spine.
Surviving the Isolation
Accepting that she was trapped, Fra returned to the cabin. That night, she awoke to an odd noise. Attempting to step outside, she found the barrier had moved, now blocking the cabin's entrance. She screamed, only to wake up in her bed, as if it had all been a dream.
Days passed. With no signs of her friends, Fra began scavenging for supplies, eventually stumbling upon a cow. At first, she hid in fear but then approached the animal, naming her Bella. She now had Lynx and Bella for company, but she still sought a way out.
Desperate, she attempted to drive her friend’s car through the barrier. The vehicle slammed into the unseen wall, leaving her injured and disheartened. She kept searching for an escape, but after ten days of failure, she faced reality: no one was coming for her. Dark thoughts crept in, but she chose survival over despair. Honoring her friends’ memory, she started a potato farm, with Lynx eagerly digging alongside her.
A New Life Among Animals
As months passed, Fra adapted. She found a wet, meowing cat outside one day and adopted it. Lynx, Bella, and the new cat became her makeshift family. Hunting was necessary, but it weighed on her conscience. The first time she killed a deer, she couldn't bring herself to write about it.
Time blurred. One stormy night, the cat gave birth, and Fra named the kitten Pearl. She realized that caring for her animals distracted her from her loneliness.
Seasons changed. She harvested hay, struggled against depression, and found solace in nature. She noticed a white crow ostracized by its black-feathered kin and left food for it. The crow became a symbol of her own isolation.
The Final Blow
Years passed. Fra forgot her old life, her only reality being the animals and the barrier. One afternoon, she and Lynx returned from a walk to find a stranger near Bella’s calf, wielding an axe. Lynx lunged at the man, giving Fra time to grab her rifle. But she was too late—Lynx had been killed.
Blinded by rage, she shot the intruder dead. She buried Lynx with shaking hands while Bella mourned for her calf. The man’s body was discarded over the cliff without remorse.
Fra, once clinging to survival for her companions, now felt nothing. Without Lynx, the cabin was just another prison. And so, she gathered Bella and the cat and moved again, forever wandering, forever trapped.
The End, or Just Another Beginning?
As the years stretched on, Fra continued taking notes, documenting her existence inside the barrier. But deep down, she wondered—was she merely surviving, or had she already become a ghost of the mountains, forgotten by the world beyond?
