March 2022 was the date. Because of the D-Virus, humans were wiped off on Earth. The D-Virus has been the worst virus known to man for six months. The virus was very contagious, and it caused flesh-eating illness. The human body would deteriorate as a result. The first indication of infection would be a fever. Painful paroxysmal coughing, vomiting, and exhaustion followed. The tissue beneath the skin would gradually deteriorate in a weak. Only a few weeks would be left for a human to live. By then, the infection would have progressed to the point that the sick would be reduced to bones. There was no remedy, unfortunately.
It was the month of March in the year 2022. The D-Virus wiped off humanity on Earth. It's been six months since the D-Infection emerged as the world's worst virus. The virus was exceedingly airborne, and it produced flesh-eating illness. As a result, the human body would deteriorate dramatically. The first indication of infection is a fever. Painful paroxysmal coughing, vomiting, and tiredness follow. The tissue beneath the skin would slowly be destroyed inside a weak. Only a few weeks would be enough time for a person to live. By that time, the degradation would have spread to the point that the sick would have turned into skeletons. Unfortunately, there was no treatment available.
There were no people on the streets in various regions of the planet. The human race's surviving members were dispersed over the globe. There were just animals in the area. Except for a single girl, all people have vanished. Diana Larsen, who was eighteen at the time, had the thinking of an adolescent. She was still a little childish. She had always relied on her parents to look after her, particularly financially, prior to the epidemic. When things didn't go her way, she'd be juvenile and give them serious attitude. She was unemployed for the majority of her life. However, since she was infatuated with the fashion business and her only gift was drawing, she considered becoming a fashion designer.
Aside from painting, she enjoyed hanging out at the local mall, playing video games at arcades, roller skating, and wandering along the boardwalk and ocean with her pals. She didn't had a boyfriend at any point in her life. When she spotted a gorgeous person she liked on the spur of the moment, she would act like a schoolgirl in love. Her family gave her the moniker "JJ" since she had the same blue eyes and short black hair as Joan Jett. She struggled with her freedom even after six months. Her personality had always been gregarious and outgoing, but the D-Virus had altered that. It drove her insane that she didn't have any other human companions or caregivers.
It was a great challenge for her to be alone in the world. She didn't have the feeling that she was in good hands. She was, nevertheless, attempting to remain unflappable. She was staying at her parents' beach house in Santa Cruz, California, a quarter-mile from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Diana's cat was also living with her. Molly, a 4-year-old female Manx cat with a light brown coat and amber eyes, was found abandoned.
In the middle of March, it was a quiet yet lovely Friday evening. Diana was sitting in the dining room at the beach home, with a plate of chicken, a bowl of chilli, and a can of orange soda in front of her. Molly was buried in a dish of chicken across from her. As she wolfed down the steak, the cat pretended she hadn't eaten in days. Molly's dish was next to a bowl of water.
Diana scowled as she saw her ravenous cat. "Molly, you shouldn't eat too quickly." You're going to puke again."
Diana's statements elicited no response from Molly.
Diana sighed. "I'm fed up with cleaning up your puke." She sighed as she took a sip from her Coke. "I dreamed about him once again."
Molly drank the water she had brought with her.
"This time, we were thrilled since we were swimming in the ocean." As she remembered her dream, Diana grinned. "It felt great, and it was a lot of fun." She sat back with a sigh. "I'm not familiar with him." I'm very confident I'll never get to meet this person because you and I are the only ones here."
Molly resumed her chicken-eating habit.
"This time I'm delighted I didn't burn the chicken." "I'm so astonished that I can prepare something more than toast and coffee," Diana exclaimed, laughing.
For More Wait for next week.
