Nigel Kee

Nigel Kee was too busy ripping the hair from his bleeding skull to notice the speeding school bus. It took a thick textbook, thrown from the hands of a terrified middle schooler, to finally get his attention by hitting him square in the face.

Two months ago, Nigel and his crew were responding to a house fire in the Florida keys. During their stressful efforts to put out the flames, the second floor collapsed while Nigel was making his final walkthrough. He fell sixty feet into heavily infested alligator waters, cracking his skull on a piece of burning metal on the way down. Miraculously he was left whole by the gators, which were all driven away by the flames, but he slipped into a coma. When he finally awoke, every thought and internal voice from everyone around him began rambling inside of his brain.

The doctors and shrinks were all dumbfounded and released him back into the public under the notion of severe anxiety following a traumatic event. Except it wasn't.

As days passed, the voices grew louder and Nigel lost control of his mind. Then something amazing happened. While he tore the hair from his skull, a large textbook slammed into his face. The voices didn’t stop, but he was suddenly able to telepathically control them. Trying out his new power, he focused on the out of control bus.

Infiltrating the students' brains, he quickly discovered that the driver had fallen unconscious. Using the students' heightened emotions, he bounced his consciousness into the elderly driver. The connection was weak, due to the heart attack he was having, yet he still tried to do something.

He focused all of his energy then felt a sharp snap. The connection broke, but the bus immediately screeched to a staggering stop.
