Neuro Master

In a world of chaos his mind is the ultimate weapon calculating and coding a better tomorrow… /1984 unofficial challenge and epic beginnings entry!

“It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen.”

Outside the wind howled like a wounded beast. We took through alleys as to not be seen. Democracy had died just three months ago and now streets that were were turbulent danger zones.

If democracy wasn’t dead it hung in the balance of our great second civil war. A war that divided the people like nothing before.

What did we expect in a heavily disputed elections that featured a felon and one of the least like vice presidents to date.

My dad was a man of numbers and close friends to Elon Musk. In fact I was one of the first to receive the invasive neural link.

Now as streets erupted with protest and murder we snuck past the mobs and military patrols like children sneaking out of bed.

Fear snatched my throat like a mugger as we approached the old workshop. As the back door creaked open my heart raced with fear, knowing my life would soon change.

Inside Dr Giuseppe Monet would upgrade my neural link with every AI and bit of info known to man. It all happened fast and swift. The buzzing of machines, a migraine inducing pain, and then a scene that played out in slow motion.

Shadows in the window. as flames engulf the workshop. My heart stops as I watch bullets swarm my dad and Giuseppe.

In slow motion I see calculations, dodge bullets, and cause machines to erupt. One man becomes my human shield. Computers become my play things and I use them as distractions. Before I know it I’m staring a pile of bodies. I’ve become something else now. Tied into every computer and machine. I will fix this world if it’s the last thing I do.
