words "Treasure Map" written across the top. Tim and Jane's eyes lit up

with excitement. They had always dreamed of finding treasure and this

map seemed like the perfect opportunity.

Without hesitation, the two friends set off on an adventure to find the

treasure. They followed the map, which led them through the forest,

across a river, and over a mountain. Along the way, they encountered all

sorts of obstacles, but they were determined to find the treasure.

Finally, they reached a clearing in the forest, and there it was, a big chestfilled with gold coins and precious jewels. Tim and Jane were overjoyed

and couldn't believe their luck. They had found the treasure!

As they were about to open the chest, they heard a loud growling noise.

They turned around to see a giant dragon standing in front of them. The

dragon had been guarding the treasure and was not happy that they had

found it.

Tim and Jane were terrified, but they knew they had to think fast. They

remembered a story they had heard about a knight who had defeated a

dragon by making it laugh. So, Tim told the dragon a joke he had heard

from his dad, and to their surprise, the dragon burst out laughing.

With the dragon distracted, Tim and Jane quickly opened the chest and

grabbed as much treasure as they could carry. They ran back home as fastas they could, with the dragon still laughing behind them.

When they got home, they showed their parents the treasure they had

found. Their parents were amazed and couldn't believe their children hadfound such a treasure. Tim and Jane were famous all over the town, kids

and adults were eager to know where they found the treasure, but they

kept the secret to themselves, they had a promise with the dragon and

they didn't want to make him mad.

From that day on, Tim and Jane were known as the treasure hunters of

the town, and they continued to go on many more adventures together,

always searching for the next big discovery.
