The Light That Guides My Soul
In the name of Allah, the Most High, the Most Kind,
A path of truth, in His grace I find.Through trials and tests,
I walk with ease,For in His mercy, my heart finds peace.
The adhan calls, a sound so sweet,Reminding my soul, my Lord to meet.
Five times a day, I bow and pray,Seeking His guidance, come what may.
With every prostration, my burdens lift,A moment of peace, a heavenly gift.
The dunya may tempt with glitter and gold,But I seek a home where joy won’t grow old.
Modesty wraps me, like a shield so bright,Protecting my soul, guarding my light.
Not just in cloth, but in words and deed,A Muslim’s beauty is found in creed.
Ramadan comes, a month so blessed,A time to purify, a time to rest.
The hunger fades, the thirst is gone,Yet my heart is full from the break of dawn.
With sujood so long, and duas so deep,I find the peace that makes angels weep.
My sins like dust, washed away,By tears that fall when I kneel to pray.
The Qur’an, my light in the darkest of days,A book so divine, a guide in all ways.
Its words bring wisdom, its verses heal,A treasure so vast, a love so real.
Through the trials of life, I stand so strong,With faith as my anchor, I right the wrong.
For every hardship, a lesson is placed,A test of patience, a test of faith.
And when I fall, I rise again,Seeking forgiveness, escaping sin.
For my Lord is near, His mercy wide,A love so vast, none can divide.
I give in charity, with hand so free,For wealth is a trust, not just for me.
I speak with kindness, I stand for right,A Muslim’s heart should shine so bright.
The world may judge, may sneer, may blame,But Islam is peace, it’s not just a name.
Through patience and love, we show the way,A deen of light that will never decay.
Jannah awaits, with rivers so pure,A home for the hearts that remained secure.
Through trials and tears, through loss and gain,The journey is hard, but never in vain.
So I walk this path, with head held high,With faith as my wings, I touch the sky.
For I am Muslim, proud and free,With Allah’s love surrounding me.

Through deserts wide and oceans deep,A promise of faith, a soul to keep. The Prophet’s path, so clear, so true,A light that shines in all we do.
From Adam’s call to Ibrahim’s trust,Their faith so firm, their hearts so just. From Musa’s strength to Isa’s grace,Each Prophet stood in Allah’s embrace.
And then he came, our guide, our light,Muhammad’s truth, so pure, so bright. He taught us love, he showed the way,His sunnah shines to this very day.
So here I stand, with heart so wide,No fear, no doubt, with faith as guide. For Islam is peace, it fills my core,A light so bright forevermore.
