Murders on Emily Road
A piece of microfiction

Fourteen blondes.
Thirty-four brunettes.
Forty-seven redheads.
Ninety-five victims in total.
Cut. Slashed. Dismembered.
None of them deserved it.
The remains - strewn about before being cleaned haphazardly.
The scene of the crime - pristine apart from smatterings of gore.
The neighbors - entirely oblivious as to the crime.
Three of them watched.
One of them complimented the "job well done."
Her garden - destroyed.
Her heart - gutted.
Her rage - calculated.
"Murders on Emily Road," they laughed.
"Forgot you mentioned it," he said.
One blonde.
Two brunettes.
One redhead.
Four victims so far.
Strangled. Broken. Stabbed.
All of them deserve it.
