The atmosphere was a bit awkward, because this person Fang You knew was Tao Yuan, a boy in the same class as her, and was wearing the uniform of a sales clerk. Fang You was not familiar with him in school, just to the extent of knowing each other, and usually did not even speak twice, even if the scene changed from the classroom to outside the cafe, it was difficult to find a starting point for conversation between the two immediately. After a subtle silence, Tao Yuan greeted Fang You into the store to hide from the rain. Fang You did not hesitate to go in, after all, the rain is getting heavier outside, the narrow eaves outside the cafe is not too blocking. Perhaps because of the rainy day, there were no other customers in the store, and the other clerks didn't know where they had gone, only the two of them. The gentle and pleasant background music made Fang You feel in a trance, but when she sat down on the chair and watched the water drops fall down her hair to the table, she couldn't help but start thinking about whether to tell Tao Yuan that she didn't have any money on her. Venture into this place where you shouldn't be, as if you really are a thief. But she did not want to justify anything, if only to hide from the rain, you have to shake out the rags hidden in life to people, then this is a place of execution, not a shelter. Fortunately, the boy did not ask anything, he kept a restrained silence, first handed her a dry towel, and after a while added a plate of muffins. The muffins on the plate were slightly different from the ones Fang You had seen in the window before, each one not quite complete, and some with suspicious scorch marks. A few of the pancakes were softly clumped together by the translucent honey, like a girl who had been rained on, with little life. But anyway, it was still a plate of muffins. Fang You picked up the fork in a hurry and held it for half a day, only to squeeze out a sentence: "Sorry." She had decided to eat the plate of muffins first and then tell the other party that she didn't have money to pay. She knew it was not decent, but she had only been scolded by her aunt since last night and hadn't eaten, and when one is hungry to the point of panic, one can't care, or can't afford to maintain the decency thing. The young boy always looks good when he smiles, and his looks have nothing to do with it, the smile itself is refreshing and bright, with a special infectious power. He told Fang You, don't want her to say sorry, want her to say thank you and delicious. "I've tried to do this several times, and this is the closest I've come to success." The boy grinned, a little embarrassed in his smile, "but you started saying sorry before you even ate, it made me a little panicky ah." Fang You buried his head and forked a piece of muffin into his mouth. The cake had been sitting for some time and was no longer hot, but the texture was still fluffy and soft, and dipped in honey, a moist sweet. It tasted better than every taste she had imagined in the past. The muffin melted in her mouth, and the tangible thing turned into an intangible pleasure. This joy came with a lot of weight, enough to make Fang You wipe away the wetness that had come to her eyes, looked up with a smile and whispered a thank you. The young girl smile is also very beautiful, also has nothing to do with looks, the beauty is sincere, and the kind of young people back to life when the vibrancy. This kind of smile can impress people, otherwise, Tao Yuan will not have a moment to hold his breath, calmly stagger the line of sight. The rain fell for a long time, no one else came in the store, the two of them sitting face to face, Fang You quietly eating muffins, Tao Yuan is trying to find some of the topics to talk about.
