Doric Wolfson scored more goals, completed more assists, and executed more takeaways than any other player in the league. He just happened to be black.

He received hate from his own teammates and fans because his skin color looked like soot. Fans from different teams threw bananas and stuffed monkeys on the ice.

Wolfson just continued to play smarter and better than anyone else in the league.

When he scored, he did so with gusto and assisted and made takeaways with intent.

As he received the MVP award, he became the first black player to do so in the league.
