Missing in Venice

The time she’d gone too far. Even with her mighty engines in reverses, the ocean liner was pulled further and further into the canal.One day in 1892 on a hot summer day there was a advertisement in the newspaper.That was talking about a new cruise ship.Bob Authier was offering one hundred families a free cruise on his new ship.Every family in New York City wanted to win contest to go to venice, Italy.The Johnson’s family wanted to go on family vacation for a while now,because Mr.Johnson promised his wife and daughter a trip. One of his friends in the office was reading the newspaper and mentioned to Bob that there is a contest for a free cruise. Bob was suspicious about the article so he left and went to a paper shop to get a newspaper. He finally read the article and at that moment a guy walked in and had a paper for people to fill out to enter the contest.Mr.Johnson was weirded out by how the guy knew that he was interested in the advertisement. Mr.Johnson didn’t want to sign it yet just in case it wasn’t official. Later that night when he got home his family was already eating dinner. His wife could tell something was up ,so she asked “What happened today?Why are you so shaky?” He just went to the table and looked at his family and said “I have something to tell you guys.” His family looked at him confused about what he was talking about. His family wanted to know what was wrong so they asked what it was and he said “ Do you guys want to go on a family cruise ?” Mrs.Johnson looked at her kids and her husband confused then said, “we don’t have the money for a trip right now.” Mr.Johnson knew his wife was going to say that so he brought home the advertisement and gave it to his wife. She read the article and she had a happy but confused face. She excused her children from the table.

Grace :“What is this?”

Noah :“What do you mean what is this, it’s an advertisement about a free cruise trip.”

Grace :“Whoever this Bob Authier guy is, why is he just offering a hundred families to go on a cruise there must be a catch.”

Noah :“Why would there be a catch?”

Grace :“Do you not hear yourself, you literally just saw a free advertisement to go on a cruise and you just asked us to drop everything for a cruise.”

Noah :“ Well when you put it like that i guess it sounds crazy.”

Grace :“You know what I'm done with this conversation.”

A week passes by and the Johnson family gets accepted to go on the cruise. On the cruise Grace wasn’t having a good time because she felt that the cruise was dragged out. The daughter Elizabeth was at the pool by herself and saw a cool hat that some guy on the boat was giving out for free and she went to go get one but on her way over there the guy said her name. At this point Elizabeth is scared and she tries to run and the guy pulls her by the arm.They disappear into a storage room.The guy tells her that she is very special and has powers.Elizabeth is confused and says “if i had powers i would’ve known.”

Hat Guy :“ Well if you don’t say try and say “ boom”

When she says “ boom” she disappears to a random mansion and there is a guy waiting for her to arrive.So back on the boat her family is looking for her they have told the captain and the crew that have been looking for her. It’s been hours and they can't find her, they begin to think she went overboard. After they check all the cameras they see her go into the storage room by herself and see her walk out and then just disappear. Three years later she comes back home from the mansion and thinks it's still the same day but little does she know it’s been three years .She sees her family are walking down the street and Noah can’t believe what he’s seeing. “My baby, My baby girl is finally home” They know it’s Elizabeth because she hasn’t aged a day and that heart shaped birthmark on her cheek . She looks the same as the day she went missing. The Johnson’s have so many questions.Asking her where she has been and Elizabeth only remembers going to get a hat and being told she had powers. Later that night with everyone getting the news Elizabeth is back and healthy with her family. Grace receives a call from Bob Authier .

Grace: “Hello”

Bob: “Hello ma’am is this Mrs.Johnson”

Grace: “Yes it is she ,it’s pretty late is something wrong sir”

Bob: “I just got notice you’ve found your daughter”

Grace: “Yes, im happy my babygirl is finally home safely”

Bob: “ That’s great to hear, but Mrs.Johnson we just got noticed a body has been found and it may be your daughter”

Grace : “No way that can’t be possible Elizabeth just returned home today”

Bob: “Mrs.Johnson is there anyway you can come in the morning and view the body “

Grace: “ Yes I’ll be there”

That next morning Grace tells Noah to get the kids ready she has to go handle business. When Grace meets with Bob everything is just silent, nothing is said he’s just talking to her to view the body. When Grace looks at the body she instantly is in shock. She saw her daughter Elizabeth's body just laying there lifeless, but she was spooked out because she thought that night before she reunited with her daughter. It didn’t make sense how her daughter returned home and this body just showed up out of nowhere after three years she has been missing. It just didn’t make sense. Grace kept everything away from her husband and continued to live her regular life and still trying to figure out what actually happened that day when Elizabeth went missing.
