Messy Me, Radiant He

With that bushy hair, all well dressed wearing cooling glasses he always manges to look great. I rarely have the courage to look at handsome men. They intimidate me for some reason 😝

I was walking along the busy street with my messy attire, him walking towards me casually dressed yet stupidly attractive. I noticed him from a distance.

"Oh shit! He is the same guy!?!"

He was walking his cute doggy.

"Act cool you lil shit" I thought to myself.

I was too scared to even look at him. I unlocked my phone and started looking at it aimlessly. I thought I was acting non-chalant. He was almost close to crossing me.

A loud growl from his dog...!!!!!

I jumped and the phone in my hands nearly fell down😭

I looked at him and I could feel my blood gush into my face. I was soooo embarrassed

He let out a little smile from his eyes controlling his laughter.

Dang it!!! It was a total wreck!

I went home and replayed the same thing in my brain cringing so hard.

For few weeks I avoided that route to escape a potential embarrassment again.

It was evening, cloudy sky and the cool breeze after a two weeks of heat wave gave people a reason to come out of their homes. So I took the chance too..!

But little did I expect to see him sipping his tea at a tea stall. Talking and laughing with his friends.

"Shoot! Him again?!"

"Be calm hon! Let's be confident" gave myself a nudge. Looked around no dogs this time.

" Let's just get past him and we're done."

Was gonna walk past the stall and bam a heavy wind blew against my face with dust particles in the air and soon in my eyes😭.

"Here we go again!!" I closed my eyes with tears rolling down my face. Soon my knees hit a motorbike parked aside. I let a shrill of pain.

I heard someone laugh and I assumed it was him. I didn't dare to look at his side. I started walking in pain

Why does he get to see the most messy part of me. Gosh!!!!

Arghhhhhh!!! The following week my brain selected each of those memories accordingly to keep my wound fresh.

Oohhh and on one sunny day...I was coming back from temple and I plugged my earphones, playing my favourite songs. Boy! I was in an elated mood that day. I walked with zero thoughts, but the song lyrics in my head.

I saw him again. This time I walked with no care in my mind. He walked past me with a weird look on his face. But I didn't care, finally I managed without any embarrassments this time.

I was soo relieved!

After reaching home my mom starts laughing at my face. I soon went to take a look in the mirror. To my horror kumkum was all over my face.

I probably rubbed it while I was wiping my sweat off my face with my hanky

"Hmm.. absolutely cinema" I thought to myself 🥲

I was carrying a heavy bag full of vegetables enough for the following week. I was so tired from walking and carrying. I was sweating and panting.

Guess who was walking his dog again?????

"I give up! God not again!"

I continued walking in despair. With all those incidents he must think I am a clown.

While I was switching the bag to another hand of mine, the bag slipped from my hands and bam! All the vegetables fell down tumbling.

He calmly signalled his doggy.

"Rexy fetch!"

Rexy being the cute lil obedient guy went to fetch a potato.

His eyes were twinkling with a bright smile spread across his beautiful lips.

I couldn't help but admire the looks for a while😍🙈

He picked up the vegetables one by one give occasional glances while I stole as much glances I could.

" Oh those flirty eyes!!"

He picked up the bag finally with lil rexy fetching few.

"Hi, I am Manav...May I know what this beauty is called?" He said pointing his hand at me!!!!!!

And the rest is history 😛🙈
