Miao had no food or clothing and had to beg to get by. A year later, Miao gave birth to a lump of flesh, people were afraid, and Miao did not know what to do, so she threw it into the water.

Who expected the meat into the water, suddenly turned into a white dragon, crawling toward his mother, as if he had something to say to her. When she saw it, she fell to the ground with a shriek. In a moment, lightning and thunder, a storm of rain and wind. After a long time, the sky cleared up. People looked, the white dragon has been on the mountain top flexibly swimming. After a while, the white dragon returned to the place where it was born, and when it saw that its mother had died, it soared away. The townspeople financed the burial of its mother, and her grave is now known as the Dragon Mound. After the death of the maiden, her spirit often clung to the witch, and through the mouth of the witch asked people to build a shrine and temple for her, and said that the white dragon she gave birth to had been worshipped in the Changsha Temple. So the villagers built a dragon temple on the top of the hill. Every year on March 18, the White Dragon returns to visit its mother. In the first few days of the dragon's return, the climate is always very cold and miserable, the mountains next to the temple are misty with smoke and rain, and the weather is sometimes cloudy and sunny. By the time the White Dragon was born, the White Dragon showed up in the form. Sometimes it is a few feet long, visible from the mountains, and sometimes it is as small as a lizard, clinging to the statue of its mother.

On the third day of March in the year of Gengchen (440 AD), a passenger ship was moored at the shore of Nanxu, and an old man dressed in white came to the boatman and said, "I am coming from Changsha to visit my relatives in Yangshan, Suzhou, and I am willing to give ten coins to hire your ship, I will pay you five coins first, and then pay you the remaining five coins when I arrive at Yangshan."

The boatman agreed to his request. The boat was untied and set sail at the end of the day, but it had only traveled a few dozen miles by late at night. The old man thought the boat was going too slow, became angry, and sailed the boat himself. The boatman saw the old man for his oars, very happy, they hid in the cabin to sleep. When he opened his eyes at dawn, he was already 360 miles away from the South Xu.

The old man fluttered ashore, slowly into the temple, followed by the boatman also went. However, after the old man entered the temple, he suddenly disappeared, and then looked in front of the statue of the Dragon Mother, the five coins for renting the boat were there. Soon, thunderstorm, and the sky is dark. The boatman did not understand what was going on, and when he asked the monks in the temple, he realized that the White Dragon had come back to visit its mother. Thus, it can be seen that the White Dragon enjoyed the rituals in the temple in Changsha and returned to visit its mother at the time of its birth, which was verified by this time.
