The Adventure of Finding Stillness and Tranquility

By Dyname75Published 2 years ago 6 min read

In the middle of a lush forest full of mystery and natural beauty, a group of hilarious friends decide to embark on an exciting adventure. There is Budi, the leader who always tries to look brave, Siti, the cheerful one who never can escape the smile, Anton, the nerd who always carries an encyclopedia, and Maya, the animal lover who always finds unique animals wherever she is.

That morning, they gathered at the edge of the forest fully equipped. "Okay, guys! Today we will explore the Lush Forest. Who is afraid?" said Budi excitedly.

"Well, who is afraid?" replied Siti while raising her hand.

Anton, who was checking the map, said, "We have to be careful. According to this encyclopedia, there are many unidentified animals and plants in this forest."

"No need to worry, Anton. I will protect you all," Maya added with a confident smile.

They began to walk into the forest. Just a few meters away, Budi suddenly tripped over the roots of a tree and fell on his stomach. "Ouch! Who the * put the roots here?" he complained.

Siti laughed out loud, "Budi, it's the root of the tree, not a trap!"

On the way, they found a small clear river. "We can rest here for a while," Anton suggested as he opened his encyclopedia book.

Siti immediately ran to the river bank and shouted, "Look, there are small fishes! It's so funny!" Without thinking, Siti dipped her feet in the water and made the fish run away in all directions.

Maya, who was busy looking for rare animals, suddenly saw a squirrel with a very large tail. "Look, guys! Big tail squirrel! Let's get close!" he exclaimed.

Bob and Anton approached cautiously, but the squirrel jumped into the tree and disappeared. "Boy, you're right, Maya. The squirrel is indeed unique," said Budi.

Their adventure gets even more exciting when they find a small cave. "Let's take a look inside!" asked Siti enthusiastically.

In the cave, they saw many sleeping bats. "Shhh, don't make a noise," Anton whispered. However, just then, Siti tripped over a rock and almost fell. "Oops, sorry!"

The bats flew scattered, and Budi shouted a little, "Aaaa, get out! Get out!"

They came out of the cave with laughter. "It seems that we do need more practice to become professional explorers," Anton said with a sigh.

After resting and enjoying their provisions, night began to envelop the Lush Forest. They decided to set up a tent and camp there. Budi excitedly took the tent from his bag, while Siti, Anton, and Maya helped prepare the campfire.

"Anton, is there a traditional way to make a bonfire?" asked Maya curiously.

Anton opened his encyclopedia and started reading. "Yes, there is. We can use two stones or wood to make sparks."

Budi tried to imitate what Anton described, but instead managed to burn a piece of bread that they were going to bake. "Oops, looks like I should learn more about this," Budi said with an awkward smile.

After several attempts, they finally succeeded in making a warm bonfire. They sat around the campfire, telling stories and laughing together. Siti, who really likes storytelling, started telling her about the legend of the forest.

"He said, in this forest there are forest fairies who always maintain the balance of nature. If we are lucky, maybe we can see it," Siti said with bright eyes.

Suddenly, there was a hissing sound from the bushes near them. "What is that?" asked Anton with some fear.

Maya, the bravest among them, approached the bushes and found a huge frog. "Just frogs, guys. No need to worry," he said as he lifted the frog.

However, the frog jumped from Maya's hand and landed on Budi's head. "Aaaa! There's a frog on my head!" shouted Budi as he jumped up and down.

Siti and Anton burst into laughter, while Maya tried to calm Budi down. "Relax, Budi. This frog is harmless."

The night is getting late and they are getting sleepy. They went inside the tent and started to sleep. However, in the middle of the night, there was a strange noise from outside the tent. Budi, the most timid, shivered with fright. "Anyone heard that sound?" he whispered.

"Yes, I heard it," Siti replied. "Maybe it's the sound of the wind."

But Anton, who was more sensible, said, "No, it's the sound of footsteps."

Maya calmly walked out of the tent to check. As it turned out, the sound came from a herd of deer looking for food. "Just deer, guys. We are safe," Maya said as she returned to the tent.

In the morning, they woke up with a new spirit. "Our adventure in the Lush Forest is indeed full of surprises," said Budi.

On their third day in the Lush Forest, they decided to explore a deeper and more mysterious area. While walking, they encounter a wide variety of flora and fauna that they have never seen before.

On the way, Siti suddenly stopped and exclaimed, "Look, there is a glowing flower!" They all approached and saw a small flower with petals shining softly in the shadow of the trees.

"Wow, this is amazing," Anton said as he opened his encyclopedia. "It's not in this book. Maybe we discovered a new species!"

Budi, with his enthusiasm, said, "We should give this flower a name. How about 'Lush Light Flower'?"

They all agreed and took some photos for documentation. After that, they continued their journey until they arrived at a beautiful small waterfall. Maya, who is very fond of animals, sees some small colorful frogs around the waterfall.

"It's the perfect place to rest," Maya said. "We can bathe in the river and enjoy the scenery."

They all agreed and started playing in the water. Budi, who was trying to show his diving skills, instead slipped and fell funny, making Siti and Anton laugh out loud.

After being satisfied to play water, they sat by the river and began to talk about the next plan. "We have to find a big cave that is said to be full of crystals," Anton said enthusiastically.

Siti, who loves adventure, chimed in, "Yes, I heard stories from locals that the cave is very beautiful and mysterious."

They decided to look for the cave. After walking for several hours, they finally found the entrance of the cave covered with vines. Carefully, they went into the cave and were fascinated by the scenery inside. The cave walls are filled with shimmering crystals, reflecting their torchlight beautifully.

"Wow, it's like in a fairy tale," Siti said admiringly.

Anton, who had always been curious, began to examine the crystals carefully. "This is an extremely rare crystal formation. We are really lucky to find it."

However, suddenly they heard a roar from inside the cave. Budi quickly said, "Come on, we must go out before this cave collapses!"

They all ran out in a hurry, and just as they came out, the inside of the cave began to collapse. "That's so close," Maya said with a sigh of relief.

Siti chuckled lightly, "This adventure is really full of surprises!"

In the evening, they returned to their campsite and began to reflect on the day's adventures. "We managed to find a lot of amazing things," Anton said as he wrote in his notebook.

Budi added, "And we do it with laughter. That's what makes this adventure special."

Siti, with a big smile, said, "Deal! We are indeed the best friends ever."

Maya, looking at the stars, said, "Let's keep on this adventure and see what else the Lush Forest has to offer."

With passion and togetherness, they promise to continue their exploration the next day, ready to face whatever comes their way with laughter and joy.
